First-time filmmaker Omar Naim writes and directs the sci-fi drama The Final Cut. Set in the near future, the story concerns a microchip that is capable of recording a person's entire life. Robin Williams plays Alan Hakman, an editor who cuts together the footage to make pleasant movies for funerals. Tormented by his job and his own memories, Alan also has a troubled romantic relationship with bookseller Delilah (Mira Sorvino). While looking through footage for his next project, Alan discovers a man whom he believes is from his own past. Meanwhile, former editor Fletcher (James Caviezel) wants the footage for his own purposes. The Final Cut was shown at the Berlin Film Festival in 2004. ~ Andrea LeVasseur, All Movie Guide

The SG-1 team arrives on planet P7J989, where they are immediately plunged into a virtual-reality trap. Over and over again, the team is forced to relive (and attempt to revise) the worst moments of their lives. Controlling this phenomenon is The Keeper (Dwight Schultz), who insists that the V-R exercises have been designed for the amusement of those living in a metallic chamber to protect them from their planet's pollution. Duncan (Adrian Paul) believes that his Immortal friend, Kiem Sun (Soon-Teck Oh), is responsible for the death of one of Richie's (Stan Kirsch) pals who cashed it in while committing a burglarly under the influence of a lethal, mind-controlling herbal drug. It turns out that the actual culprit is a disciple of Kiem Sun, Chu Lin (Dustin Nguyen).
