Robocop meets Red Shoe Diaries in this cheerfully cheesy sci-fi-exploitation flick directed by Jamie Luk. Set in the near future when robot technology has created some strikingly human-like products, the film opens with loonball Japanese scientist pervert Ryuichi Sakamoto (Lam Chung), transferring his consciousness into one of his cyborg creations, which immediately becomes a killing and raping machine. One of its victims is police officer Selena Lam (Chikako Aoyama), whose body and mind get resurrected and transformed into the ass-kicking android Eve-27 by Dr. Sara (Hiu-Dan Hui). The scientist also downloads her own personality into Ann (Amy Yip), her well-endowed robot assistant, who longs to experience sexual congress. Together the three follow the trail of dead prostitutes back to Sakamoto and his fiendish creation. ~ Jonathan Crow, Rovi

Michael Mak directs this Category III box-office smash loosely based on a notorious 17th century text. Mei Yeung-sheung (Lawrence Ng) is a scholar who has a hard time keeping his mind on his studies because of his raging libido. When he cannot satisfy his appetites with his seemingly insatiable wife, Chau-yin (Amy Yip Chi-mei), he gets an operation on his undersized phallus which literally leaves him hung like a horse. He sets out to give his new addition a test drive by seducing the wife of abusive merchant Wong Chut (Tsui Kam-kong). As he moves on to the sexually adventurous though emotionally unbalanced Shui Chu (Yip again), Wong Chut sets out for revenge by luring Mei's abandoned wife Chau-yin, who spends her free time learning new uses for calligraphy brushes. Athletic coupling in gauzy soft focus ensues. ~ Jonathan Crow, Rovi

Primarily intended as a showcase for the prodigious pulchritude of popular Hong Kong pin-up queen Amy Yip, this softcore exploitation thriller from director Yeung Chi-kin stars Yip as May So, who comes to Hong Kong from the Chinese mainland with her husband and baby after she kills a man who attempted to rape her. The police kill her husband in a shootout, and May So asks one of the officers to take care of her baby before she is deported back to China. The action picks up a few years later with May So falling in with a group of girls headed for Macau as she attempts to get back to Hong Kong and recover her child. Unfortunately, the women are tortured and beaten and forced into prostitution by a criminal gang instead. May ends up being helped by a john from Portugal who is actually an undercover police officer, and the obligatory happy reunion follows, but not until a great deal of Category III raunch, rape, and violence fills the screen. Charlie Cho, Wu Ma, and Lam Ching-ying head the familiar cast. ~ Robert Firsching, Rovi

In this sequel to the popular Hong Kong fantasy tale Erotic Ghost Story, Wu Tung (Anthony Wong) is a lustful demon with a taste for mortal women. Wu Tung has become infatuated with a woman named Hsiao-yen, but a pair of Buddhist nuns refuse to allow him to have her and she is burned at the stake for her brief dalliance with the demon. Wu Tung is understandably furious and takes his wrath out upon the village; in order to appease him, each month a virgin is chosen to be the demon's consort for the next four weeks. When Yu-ying (May Law) is chosen to sacrifice herself to Wu Tung, she objects, as she's fallen in love with Shan-kan (Lui Siu Yip), a local fisherman, but her father, a village leader, forces her to obey Wu Tung's wishes. Wu Tung discovers that the soul of Hsiao-yen has found a new vehicle in Yu-ying, making him all the more drawn to her, while Yu-ying is only more repulsed by Wu Tung, and is determined to keep him at bay -- even if it means losing her virtue in the process.
