The supporting cast includes Robert Costanzo as Sal Petrone, Patricia Stevens as Wanda Moss, Jan Fisher as Ms. Hunsinger, Bill Zuckert as Mr. Kreever, Delores Albin as Miss Nightingale, and Brian Miller as Billy. Written by Earl Pomerantz, this was one of several sixth-season episodes in which series star Bob Newhart did not appear. Taking the advice of his idol Hawkeye (Alan Alda), Radar (Gary Burghoff) heads off for a weekend of whoopee at the Pink Pagoda in Seoul. When Radar is wounded en route, Hawkeye is consumed by guilt, so much so that he is unable to do his job to the best of his abilities. The disappointed Radar reprimands Hawkeye for his behavior, thereby sparking a war of words that seriously threatens the future relationship of these longtime friends. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
The men and women of the 4077th finally get to meet Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan's fiancee, Col. Donald Penobscott (here played by Beeson Carroll). Despite the predictions of sullen Frank Burns (Larry Linville), who still carries a torch for Hot Lips (Loretta Swit) and is convinced that the belated wedding ceremony will never take place, Donald agrees to be married in camp immediately. What follows is a riotous bachelor party and an equally hilarious wedding, replete with hung-over commanding officers, unnecessary body casts, an off-key piano solo, and a gorgeous "ensemble" from fashionable cross-dresser Klinger (Jamie Farr). Actor Harry Morgan takes on role of director for this episode.. During the absence of Col. Potter, Frank (Larry Linville) demands that Hawkeye (Alan Alda) be court-martialed for mutiny.
