Kristoffer Polaha Movies
After working in television for a several years, mostly in guest roles on such series as Angel, Tru Calling, and Roswell, Kristoffer Polaha scored quite the part as his first major role -- the Reno, Nevada-born actor portrayed John F. Kennedy Jr. (no stretch, given the physical resemblance) in the warmly received 2003 telemovie America's Prince: The John F. Kennedy Jr. Story. Not long after that, Polaha took on his first regular TV role, playing luxery hotel manager Jason Matthews on the prime-time soaper North Shore. When that series ended after just one season, Polaha continued on with guest work on popular shows such as House, Bones, and Mad Men, appearing in a regular role again in 2008 on the very short-lived sitcom Miss Guided. On that series, he played shop teacher-turned-Spanish instructor Tim O'Malley -- the object of high-school guidence councilor Becky Freeley's (Judy Greer) affection. In his private life, Polaha made headlines in 2003, when he courted and wed Days of Our Lives heartthrob Julianne Morris -- nine years his senior -- and parented children with her not long after. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide- Starring:

To some people, the true definition of Hell might be: "To remain in the same high school with the same irritating people for the rest of your life." Even so, this was more or less the premise of the ABC sitcom Miss Guided. Judy Greer headed the cast as Becky Freeley, formerly the gawky, underachieving class nerd of Glen Ellen High School (she'd been president and half the membership of the school's Milli Vanilli Fan club, among other things). Now attractively grown up, Becky returned to Glen Ellen as the school's guidance counselor, determined to make a difference in the lives of other disenfranchised youngsters. Making life difficult for Becky all over again was the fact that her onetime "bete noire" Lisa Germain (Brooke Burns), the most popular girl in our heroine's graduating class, was also at Glen Ellen as the new English teacher--and worse, as Becky's rival for the affections of handsome Spanish instructor Tim O'Malley (Kristoffer Polaha). Also seen were Earl Billings as Phil Huffy, eternal principal of Glen Ellen; and onetime Saturday Night Live regular Chris Parnell as vice principal Bruce Terry, who had foresworn to get even for being relentlessly picked on during his days as a high school nerd by mercilessly persecuting the current crop of students (especially the good-looking ones). Created by Caroline Williams (The Office, High School Musical), and co-executive produced by actor Ashton Kutcher, Miss Guided debuted on March 18, 2008. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

He remains one of the true icons of late 20th and early 21st century evangelism. But what of his early years -- the years that led him into full-time ministry? As scripted and directed by acclaimed actor Robby Benson (The Chosen), this fact-based historical drama depicts Billy Graham (here played by Armie Hammer) as an earnest young man whose life is irrevocably changed via his interaction with another up-and-coming follower of God, Charles Templeton. Though fast friends, the men reach a crossroads and fork off in opposing directions when Templeton's faith buckles beneath the weight of the scientific revolution and the evidence that he perceives as an unshakable threat to Christianity. The disbelief that Templeton demonstrates, in turn, convinces Graham to take the altar call in the Depression-era South, in an effort to bring people to God who find themselves mired in agnosticism and atheism. Martin Landau portrays Charles Templeton as an old man, Josh Turner plays George Beverly Shea, and Stefanie Butler co-stars as Graham's wife, Ruth Bell Graham. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide

As he gives her lessons in swordplay so she can better defend herself in future battles, Angel (David Boreanaz) is surprised to learn that Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter) is a quick study; she credits her years as a Sunnydale cheerleader. It's Fred (Amy Acker), however, who really needs to defend herself when a half-demon with the power to turn men into misogynist murderers turns Wesley (Alexis Denisof) into a clone of Jack Nicholson's character from The Shining. William "Billy" Blim (Justin Shilton) is the privileged nephew of a congressman. He's also the fiend Angel was forced to free from a hell dimension by Wolfram & Hart (see "That Vision Thing"). His very touch brings out the hidden woman-hater in every man, and Angel proves incapable of stopping the spread of his infectious magic. As a transformed Wesley stalks the resourceful Fred through the Hyperion Hotel, Cordy attempts to kill Billy. Angel stops her and Billy touches Angel, but the vampire hero proves impervious to the half-demon's magic. Combat erupts, but it's Lilah Morgan (Stephanie Romanov) -- who suffered a savage beating at the hands of the Billy-infected Gavin Park (Daniel Dae Kim) -- who ultimately defeats her own client. Later, Wesley grapples with the terror he inflicted on Fred and begs her forgiveness. Originally broadcast October 29, 2001, on the WB network, Angel: Billy marked season three, episode six of the supernatural comedy drama. The secret crush on Fred that Wesley nurses in this episode will have major plot repercussions throughout the second half of season three. ~ Brian J. Dillard, All Movie Guide
