Originally produced as a miniseries for NBC, 10.5 is a disaster film that wonders what might happen if the Western United States is ever ravaged by unprecedented earthquakes. After one quake wreaks havoc on Seattle, another strikes California, this one worse than the first. With scientists speculating that an earthquake registering 10.5 on the Richter scale could be next, the U.S. president (Beau Bridges) enlists the help of a seismologist (Kim Delaney) to somehow formulate a plan to prevent the deaths of millions of people. Originally telecast on The Disney Sunday Movie, A Fighting Choice stars Patrick Dempsey as an epileptic teen suffering from grand mal seizures. When the possibility arises that an experimental form of brain surgery may alleviate his agony, Dempsey wants to go for it. His parents (Beau Bridges and Karen Valentine were playing parents by 1986) are terrified that the operation will fail, and refuse permission. Dempsey is persistent, taking his case all the way to court. Also known as Return of the Boomerang, Adam's Woman is set in the rough-and-tumble Australia of the 1840s. Beau Bridges plays Adam, convicted of a crime he didn't commit and shipped off to the penal colony "Down Under". Enduring brutal treatment, he escapes, only to be captured again. Thanks to the intervention of a reform-minded warden John Mills, Adam is offered a fresh start in life. Such celebrities as Donald O'Connor, Maureen Stapleton and Eve Arden struggle to perform while buried under mounds of makeup and tons of eccentric costuming as Carroll's alternate-world loonies. Atta Girl, Kelly was originally a three-part drama, telecast in March of 1967 on Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color. Kelly is a German shepherd, born on a breeding farm for seeing-eye dogs in Morristown New Jersey (where the story was filmed). Once she is of a manageable age, Kelly undergoes a four-week indoctrination under the guidance of novice seeing-eye-dog trainer Beau Bridges. Kelly's first two masters are a recently blinded ex-football player (James Olson), and a long-sightless attorney (Arthur Hill) who feels that Kelly will never be able to replace his first seeing-eye dog. For its first telecast, Atta Girl, Kelly was introduced by Walt Disney himself--one of his last on-camera assignments before his death in December of 1966. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Joe Cartwright's impending marriage to the lovely Sally Cutler (Shirley Bonne) is threatened by the girl's unwanted suitor Horace (Beau Bridges), who is not only clumsy and inept, but also potentially dangerous. When Horace accidently strangles Sally to death, Joe swears vengeance. Ben tries to prevent his son from making a mistake he'll regret the rest of his life. Jason (Chuck Connors) rides into a small town to visit Frank Allison (John Anderson), who once saved his life. Unfortunately, the reunion is neither happy nor lengthy: Allison is scheduled to be hanged the next day. It now falls to Jason to prevent Allison's embittered son Lon (Beau Bridges) from exacting revenge against the townsfolk for his father's execution. E.B. White's classic children's story comes to the screen in this live-action adaptation with an all-star voice cast. Fern Arable (Dakota Fanning) is a young girl growing up on her family's farm. When a sow gives birth to some piglets, Fern's father (Kevin Anderson) intends to do away with the runt of litter, but Fern has become attached to the little pig and persuades her father to let him live. The pig, named Wilbur (voice of Dominic Scott Kay), becomes Fern's pet, but when he grows larger, he's put in the care of Homer Zuckerman (Gary Basaraba), a farmer down the road. Fern is still able to visit Wilbur regularly, and it soon occurs to both of them that pigs tend to have a limited life expectancy on a farm, and that unless something unusual happens, Wilbur will eventually becomes someone's dinner. Charlotte, a friendly spider, hatches a plan to make Wilbur seem special enough to save by weaving messages about the "terrific" pig into her web, and she soon persuades her barnyard friends to join in her plan. Charlotte is voiced by Julia Roberts, while the other actors who provide the voices of the animals on Zuckerman's farm include Robert Redford, John Cleese, Oprah Winfrey, Steve Buscemi, Kathy Bates, Cedric the Entertainer. Beau Bridges guest stars as Pvt. Orville Putnam, King Company's newest replacement. Anxious to be accepted by his fellow soldiers, Putnam hides the fact that he is interested in botany--and also neglects to tell anyone that he is only 15 years old (it seems he fibbed to his draft board). Despite his lack of life experience and his innate clumsiness, Putnam proves to be an asset to the platoon when he uses his knowledge of all things botanical to save their lives! This screen version of Del Shores' play follows a dysfunctional Southern family as they squabble among themselves over the family fortune. As the title would suggest, Daddy (Bert Remsen), the patriarch of a large family in the deep South, is reaching the end of life's journey as his health and energy slip away and he watches midget wrestling on a television that isn't even turned on. Daddy's children have all returned to the family home, ostensibly to show their support in their father's final hours, but mainly because they're eager to know how Daddy's estate will be divided. Sara Lee (Tess Harper) has arrived with her new fiancé, Clarence (Keith Carradine). Evalita (Beverly D'Angelo), the high-spirited "black sheep" of the family, also has her new beau in tow, a pot-addled musician and health-food salesman named Harmony (Judge Reinhold). Orville (Beau Bridges) has brought along his wife, the patient and long-suffering Marlene (Patrika Darbo). And Lurlene (Amy Wright) is a born-again Christian who isn't shy about expressing her views on sin and salvation. As the siblings and their companions bicker, Daddy announces that he can't remember where he put his will, leading to a frantic search. Marshall as a pair of lawyers who this time are defending a reporter who has been falsely accused of murder and imprisoned. The sensitive topic of child molestation is compellingly (and tastefully) handled on this ABC Afterschool Special. While babysitting for six-year-old Molly Stewart (Niki Scalera), teenager Karen Anderson (Kelly Wolf) cannot help but notice the inordinate amount of attention showered upon the child by the much older "family friend" Mike (Lenny Von Dohlen). Still harboring painful memories of being molested as a child, Karen does not trust Mike, and for good reason. Will Karen be able to alert Molly's parents that their child is in imminent danger of being sexually assaulted -- and, of more importance, will they believe her before it is too late? ~ All Movie Guide
