A look at the "olden days" of professional wrestling. Although less flamboyant and flashy as those in the WWF today, the original wrestlers of the '50s, '60s and '70s still put on quite a show for the crowds. The early matches featured down-and-dirty action between participants clad only in trunks and boots, in contrast to the gaudy outfits worn by today's stars. A few superstars did emerge and are featured here, including Gorgeous George, Haystacks Calhoun, and Andre the Giant. Sometimes filmed only in black-and-white, these classic matches stand firm as the prototypes on which today's ostentatious bouts are modeled.
