Little Darlings is a teen sex comedy about a group of 15-year-old girls at a summer camp who establish a contest to see which one of them will lose their virginity first. Tatum O'Neal stars as Ferris, a naive but sexually aware rich girl on the make with the older camp swimming instructor Gary (Armand Assante). Her rival in this race for deflowering is Angel (Kristy McNichol), who is quick to point out, "Don't let the name fool you." She sets her sights on the young Randy (Matt Dillon). But the contest gets obscured by inter-personal crises: Cinder (Krista Errickson), a young tease in a bunny suit, seduces Randy away from Angel, while Ferris has second thoughts about offering herself to the camp counselor. ~ Paul Brenner, All Movie Guide

In his last appearance before the cameras, David Janssen plays an alcoholic journalist desperate for a comeback. Janssen hitches his star to ruthless publisher Robert Vaughn, who is exploiting a rash of brutal murders to sell papers. The danger here is that the unknown serial killer, who preys upon beautiful young women, is rapidly becoming a media celebrity--and may be prompted to continue killing just to see his name in print. Beyond its own potential for sensationalism, City in Fear raises several provocative questions about the responsibility (and culpability) of the press. The redoubtable Angel (Stuart Margolin) is prepared to take full advantage of the fact that his brother-in-law Aaron Kiel (Milt Kogan) becomes the new police commissioner. Assigned to provide security for Kiel's welcoming party, Lt. Chapman (James Luisi) is none too thrilled that he may have to kowtow to Angel, who in addition to being a notorious lowlife is also a friend of Chapman's eternal nemesis Jim Rockford (James Garner). But when art thieves invade the party, steal $2,000,000 worth of paintings and force all the male revellers to remove their trousers, Chapman is forced to swallow his pride and "make nice" with Jim so that the thieves will be tracked down and captured with a minimum of embarrassment for the Police Force. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
