Add Mutant X: Season 03 to Queue Add Mutant X: Season 03 to top of Queue
Season three of Mutant X begins as the series' superpowered mutant protagonists struggle to come to grips with the death of their comrade Emma "Rapport" deLauro, a psychic mutant who used force bolts to control and monitor the emotions of others. Also, the human leader of the Mutant X team, Adam Kane, has been forced to fake his own death and go into hiding, the better to continue his battle against the sinister government research lab Genomex and the lab's mutant-killing Genetic Security Agency. This, of course, explains why actor John Shea is billed as a guest star during his sporadic third season appearances. Replacing the departed Emma is Lexa Pierce (Karen Cliche), who, like her new teammate Fuse (Victor Webster) is an elemental mutant, capable of harnessing and controlling certain forces of nature. It is clear from the outset that Lexa will have no trouble fitting in with, and following the agenda of, the established Mutant X team, which in addition to Fuse also includes the molecule-rearranging Synergy (Forbes March) and the cat-like Shadowfox (Victoria Pratt). Whereas in previous seasons the Mutant X team was dedicated to rescuing their fellow mutants from harm, season three finds them broadening their base to include helping ordinary humans in ordinary situations. As a result, the individual plot devices are bit more standardized: the serial killer who leaves cryptic clues behind, a race to find the antidote for a slow-acting poison, the sudden appearance of a disreputable twin brother, and a "clip show" in which the teammates try to recall all the good times when one of their number hovers between life and death. The season finale, "The Assault," reveals several hitherto unknown and unsuspected facts about Mutant X and its true purpose in the scheme of things. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Add Summer to Queue Add Summer to top of Queue
A trio of childhood friends teetering on the cusp of adulthood attempt to maintain their carefree lifestyle while stridently avoiding the responsibilities of adulthood in a warm coming of age comedy from director Phil Price. Stef, Miller, and Charlie are all recent college graduates and "Members of the Board" in a serious organization dedicated to the discovery of the perfect summer. Yet despite the vitamin B-12 bond that this beach-loving trio shares, it's becoming increasingly obvious that their fun-in-the-sun days are numbered, and that in order to grow up they are going to have to take their first tentative steps into the adult world. Now, as the summer heat shines a harsh light on the many complexities of Stef, Miller, and Charlie's relationships and careers, this trio will have to accept that fact that summer is not a lifestyle, but merely a season in an ever-changing world. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Michael Biehn starred in this gloriously derivative syndicated TV series as Judson Cross, a world-famous "professional finder" whose past discoveries included the Lost Dutchman Mine and Amelia Earhart's abandoned plane. Using the high-tech yacht "Vast Explorer" as his headquarters, Cross (who never left home without an Indiana Jones-style floppy hat) hired himself out for any and all adventures and expeditions, generally to locate what no one else could find, and often running up against unsavory types with full complements of weapons and hulking henchmen. Cross' business partners included a brace of "young renegades," Mackenzie Previn (Karen Cliche) and Gabriel Patterson (Jesse Nilsson), both of whom encountered a great deal of difficulty remaining fully clothed. Filmed on location in the Florida Keys and North Carolina, Adventure Inc. was syndicated by Tribune Entertainment beginning the week of September 30, 2002. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

In this action drama (which bears little resemblance to the classic Robert Louis Stevenson story of the same name), Henry Jekyll (Adam Baldwin) is a doctor visiting Hong Kong with his new bride when he finds himself caught in the midst of a battle between two rival gangs. Jekyll and his wife are both killed, but the doctor is brought back to life by Dr. Chau (Chang Tseng), a Chinese healer who informs the doctor that the fates have led him to Hong Kong so that he may assume the identity of a famous fighter, the White Tiger. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde also features Jason Chong, Anthony Wong and Karen Cliche. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi
