Director Adam Fields pays homage to such sci-fi classics as Alien and The Thing with this tongue-in-cheek horror comedy about a snowbound porno film crew being stalked by an evil, body-jumping alien. A blizzard has blown into town, leaving the crew of an adult film hopelessly stranded in the middle of nowhere. To make matters worse, a menacing monster from space has just arrived, too, and it's looking for a warm place to hide out. When the alien takes possession of the film's biggest star (porn legend Ron Jeremy), the rest of the crew unites to eradicate the extraterrestrial invader before it claims any more victims. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

In 1995, Oklahoma housewife Stacy Baker sent a topless photo to Gallery, a men's magazine which printed it in their "Girl Next Door" feature. The photo prompted an invitation from Hustler to pose for a photo spread, which led to an offer to star in a porno movie, and Stacy soon left her husband, headed to Los Angeles, and never looked back. A few years later, she was making up to two thousand dollars for each sex scene she performed on camera. The Girl Next Door examines Stacy Valentine's new life and career as one of the leading stars in adult entertainment, as she explains her success ("I know I'm good at sex"); deals with her mother, who remains supportive but refuses to see her daughter's movies; shares the occupational hazards of life as a porn star (frequent rounds of plastic surgery and the difficulty of maintaining a romantic relationship); and struggles to live a normal life in a business that doesn't always encourage it. In this sex comedy, a young man named Tony Cannelloni (Louie Bonanno) buys a book called "Sex Appeal," moves out of his parent's home, and gets an apartment in Manhattan to try out the book's advice. Unknown to Tony, his landlord is listening in on his bedroom shenanigans and writing them up for Playboy Magazine. Downbeat, morbid, and dark, this well-wrought suspense drama stars Farley Granger as Doug Andrews, a chief medical investigator with a not-so magnificent obsession. In 1970 the body of a four-year-old boy was found in the woods and his killers were never brought to justice. The examiner joins forces with a local policeman as they try to track down the identity of the boy and his murderer, but they get nowhere and the case is dropped. Spurred on by the need to exorcise his own demons after the drowning death of his own daughter, Andrews carries the deathmask of the four-year old with him and never gives up on the case. This R-rated gem is about an author who produces a novel with characters inspired by real-live Hollywood stars. When the book is turned into a film, the producers throw a party and invite all the films' real-life "characters" to celebrate its release and learn that they are featured in the film. All's well until a body turns up in the author-party host's swimming pool. However, there are plenty more bodies to be seen in this one--the kind with hearts still beating--because this comedy is loaded with nudity. ~ All Movie Guide
