Dirk Longstreet is back, and he's madder than ever. Longstreet (French action figure Olivier Gruner), a college professor who is a retired martial arts champion, is called into service when his girlfriend, the ambitious reporter Nicole Kent (softcore veteran Gail Harris), is caught by the corrupt guards of a corrupt prison run by a corrupt warden as she captures on video the corrupt kickboxing-to-the-death contests staged for the amusement of the prisoners. They let a very large prisoner, Pike (Jim Shagen), have his way with her (off camera, thankfully). As the now-comatose Nicole hangs onto life in a hospital, Longstreet, with the help of a newspaper reporter (Lorenzo Lamas) and his editor (Jalal Merhi), shaves his head and goes into the prison to bring the villains to their knees, and if he has to break them first, all the better. ~ Buzz McClain, All Movie Guide
One man is forced to go back to the dangerous life he struggled to leave behind in this action-thriller. Dirk Longstreet (Oliver Gruner) is a man who learned to fight and fight well, and put that talent to use in the most punishing environment imaginable. Longstreet was lured into "the Circuit," a private (and illegal) fighting club where spectators will bet fortunes on no-holds-barred battles in which two men fight until they simply can't go on -- often until one of the fighters has died. Longstreet was one of the very few men who not only fought in the Circuit and lived to tell about it, but managed to move on and build a new life for himself. Longstreet joined the faculty of a college, where he enjoyed working with athletes, until he learned that his younger brother, Jeremy (Ilya Morelle), had been recruited to become the Circuit's newest fighter. Now Longstreet must step back into the ring in order to spare his brother the fate he was able to escape. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

The depraved shenanigans at a sex clinic provide the plot of this erotic crime thriller from B-movie director Jim Wynorski. There is something sinister going at the Callister Sex Institute, a surrogate and sexual healing clinic run by therapist Scott Callister (Jay Richardson) and his bisexual wife Dr. Jessica Callister (Delia Sheppard). While investigating allegations of malfeasance, an undercover operative, Monica Waldman (Gail Harris) has been raped and murdered. Her boss, private eye Barry Mitchum (Nick Cassavetes) is determined to nail the Callisters, and so is Kay Egan (Tanya Roberts), whose sister committed suicide after being sexually assaulted at the clinic. After Barry and Kay discover they're after the same goal, they join forces to expose the Callisters, with Kay even going so far as to use her body in an effort to help Barry. ~ Karl Williams, All Movie Guide
When a bunch of sorority bimbettes move into an old home, they are terrorized by the spirit of a murderer who possesses one of them. Which top-discarding screamer is it?? ~ Kristie Hassen, All Movie Guide
Roger Corman's Concorde-New Horizons studio rolled out this nutty exploitation hybrid -- a half-baked attempt to fuse a Die Hard action theme (hence the title) to a T&A psycho-horror flick in the hope of producing direct-to-video pay dirt. Viewed on those terms, it almost works. The story begins (here goes) with a group of lovely female employees doing late-night inventory in the basement of the Acme Lingerie Company. After having the pants scared off them (nearly, anyway) by the creepy janitor and getting conveniently drenched by the sprinkler system, they move upstairs to take long showers and change into the company stock. The horror portion of the plot kicks in when they inadvertently open an unmarked package, releasing a malevolent ghost which possesses one of the girls. A convenient twist reveals a crate of weapons, leading to a hot-lead showdown with the demonic cutie. Long-time Corman pal Jim Wynorski applies some comic flair, including his usual references to different Corman projects, for which this film must set some kind of record. Look for Famous Monsters creator Forrest J. Ackerman in a wacky cameo. ~ Cavett Binion, All Movie Guide

One of a few abortive attempts by B-movie legend Roger Corman to recapture the questionable glory of his 60s Edgar Allan Poe films as well as his 70s sexploitation romps, this is definitely the least entertaining of the lot. Taking massive liberties with Poe's tale, the plot involves lovely young Lenora (Nicole Eggert) being possessed by the ghost of her mother (Eggert again), who was tortured and crucified as a witch when Lenora was an infant. After a series of flashbacks, it is also revealed that Morella had intended to sacrifice her child as part of a Satanic ritual designed to give her eternal life. Lenora's creepy governess Mrs. Deveroux (Lana Clarkson) is revealed as Morella's partner in crime, as she conspires to make Lenora's possession complete -- just in time for her to collect a sizable trust on her 18th birthday. Conceived primarily as softcore exploitation, this makes Corman's earlier bastardizations of Poe's works seem positively inspired by comparison. ~ Cavett Binion, All Movie Guide

Robert Mitchum's son Chris is one of the principal players in Death Feud. On a similar familial note, young Mr. Mitchum's costar is celebrity brother Frank Stallone. So far as we know, leading lady Karen Mayo Chandler isn't related to Jeff Chandler, or Virginia Mayo, or Karen Black. The story concerns a hooker and her pimp, who must be kept alive to deliver valuable state's evidence. A nail-tough detective must prevent the two witnesses from becoming fish food. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
Three military-school rejects hire on at a near-bankrupt antique hotel where they plunge into their jobs with gusto, trying to turn a profit. They think up a plan to run a gambling parlor in the hotel basement and they convince a bunch of Christian Beauty Girls (winners of a religious beauty contest) to put on a ladies' wrestling show for the guests. ~ All Movie Guide

Stretching out its thin storyline to a full 89 minutes of striptease performances, this erotic film features Kitten Natividad as Betty Bigwuns who is longing for an open spot on a TV series, but whose measurements are not going to fit comfortably onto a TV screen. In desperation, Betty goes to Dr. Buzz Raunchy to see about the latest diet fads, to a psychiatrist named Lucifer Chaser to handle the trauma involved, and to Fosdick's Fat Farm. While Betty is working on her measurements, strippers continue on with the show at the Little Playhouse -- run by a Ms. Little. Nudity, striptease acts, and bawdy jokes fill the screen as Betty and her bustline provide the central focus. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide
