Before joining Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell and her fairy brethren were busy creating their own special magic in Pixie Hollow, where they go about the business of bringing rainbows to the sky, color to the flowers, and adding their fairy signature to other miracles of nature. Each fairy is gifted with a unique magical talent to contribute, but Tinker Bell (voiced by Mae Whitman) can't help but feel her talent ("tinkering") isn't as good as those of her fairy companions, and tries her best to change it. Based very loosely on the classic novel by Alexandre Dumas, this direct-to-video Disney version of The Three Musketeers features Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy as janitors who become pawns in a scheme by Peg-leg Pete to take the throne away from Princess Minnie. The threesome works together in order to save the princess and the kingdom. A pair of Melbourne detectives working in the Zero Tolerance Unit set out to uncover a web of corruption in the directorial debut of famed Australian comic Tony Martin. Though a highly publicized accident involving a dead magistrate quickly relegates dedicated lawmen Ben Kinnear (Mick Molloy) and Mike Paddock (Bob Franklin) back to lowly uniformed duty, the pair can't help but notice an odd link between the accident and the questionable business associations of a suspicious casino boss they had been investigating. Marc Gracie's Australian comedy Take Away concerns a business rivalry between fast food entrepreneurs. Starting with a segment that shows the birth of fast food, the film quickly establishes the relationship between Tony (Vince Colosimo) and Trevor (Stephen Curry). The anal Tony runs a fish and chip stand more or less right next to the free-wheeling Trevor's more exotic stand that offers calamari burgers. The two have known each other forever, as their fathers owned a restaurant together. They had a falling out and the feud has been passed down to the sons. After they learn that a large fast food corporation, Burgies, is coming into the area, Tony and Trevor work together to stop them. Once the 1988 Hollywood writers strike had been settled, the Mission:Impossible series revival could stop offering remakes of episodes from the earlier Mission:Impossible and start concentrating on new material. The first "original" episode of the new series was "The Wall," which aired December 11, 1988. In the middle of delicate trade negotiations between East and West Germany, the daughter of West German representative Ilse Bruck (Anya Molina) is kidnapped by an insurgent group. The villains hope to maintain tensions between the two Germanys in order to continue their thriving illegal activities. But the IMF agents don't intend to let that happen. Written by David Phillips, "The Wall" ironically appeared a scant few months before the Berlin Wall was finally destroyed; small wonder that the episode's rerun value was nil. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
