Walt Disney Pictures resurrects one of their time-honored franchises with Race to Witch Mountain, a family-oriented sci-fi adventure that tells the story of two alien visitors (AnnaSophia Robb and Alexander Ludwig) whose search for their spacecraft gets them caught up in an adventure with a cab driver (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) and a UFO specialist (Carla Gugino). As the group races toward the mysterious mountain in the Nevada desert that has mystified scientists and paranormal researchers for years, the government, gangsters, and an extraterrestrial bounty hunter attempt to prevent them from reaching their intended destination. Should the two planetary travelers fail in recovering their ship, an alien invasion will be launched against the entire planet. The original 1975 picture Escape to Witch Mountain was followed by the sequel Return From Witch Mountain, as well as a 1995 made-for-TV remake. ~ Jeremy Wheeler, All Movie Guide

Shane (Walton Goggins) has told Vic (Michael Chiklis) everything about his dealings with Antwon (Anthony Anderson), but Lem (Kenny Johnson) still doesn't trust Shane or Army (Michael Pena). Vic decides to help Shane retrieve Angie's body, so Antwon won't have power over him, but when they look where Halpern (Laurence Mason) told them to, the body isn't there. Two patrolmen, Scooby (Robert Wu) and Carl (Jarvis W. George), go missing after responding to a domestic dispute call. Monica (Glenn Close) makes Dutch (Jay Karnes) and Claudette (CCH Pounder) the primaries on the case, but their only witness is Roger (Joel Stoffer), a mentally unstable homeless man. Aceveda (Benito Martinez) asks to take an active role in the case, and goes out on patrol with Danny (Catherine Dent), putting himself in harm's way. The bodies of the two officers are left in a house that the department has seized for the cops to find. Dutch is eventually able to locate the crime scene and a piece of jewelry apparently left behind by one of the killers. Vic's investigation into Antwon's involvement leads to nothing about the murdered cops, but he does get new information about the location of Angie's body. Lem finds out that Antwon is flying back to L.A. from Las Vegas, and Vic makes plans to intercept him before Monica can have him picked up for questioning. ~ Josh Ralske, All Movie Guide

Add Juwanna Mann to QueueAdd Juwanna Mann to top of Queue
It's Big Momma's House on the three-point line in this broad farce, which marks the leading man/woman debut of longtime character actor Miguel A. Nunez. Nunez stars as Jamal Jefferies, a hotheaded pro basketball player whose on-court antics and quick temper get him booted from the league altogether. Faster than you can say Dennis Rodman, Jamal has transformed himself into the busty Juwanna Mann in order to be a forward for a high-intensity team in the WUBA league, the Charlotte Banshees. Behind the doors of the womens' lockerroom, Jamal unexpectedly falls for Michelle Langford (Vivica A. Fox), the team's no-nonsense captain. But prosthetic breasts and false eyelashes aren't the only thing preventing Jamal from finding true love with Michelle: there's also the problem of her aggressive, two-timing boyfriend, Romeo (Ginuwine), not to mention the unwanted advances Juwanna gets from a skanky rapper named Puff Smokey Smoke (Tom Davidson). ~ Michael Hastings, All Movie Guide
