A Munich teen achieves worldwide fame as the embodiment of sexual freedom in the 1960s after romancing some of the biggest rock stars on the planet and rising to stardom as a successful supermodel in this biographical musical drama centering on the eventful life of Uschi Obermaier. Until she arrived at the legendary Berlin "Kommune 1," Obermaier (Natalia Avelon) was just your typical German teen. All of that would quickly change, however, as Obermaier entered into a heated affair with leader Rainer Langhans (Matthias Schweighofer), appeared on the covers of Playboy and Stern, and became an icon of the young generation. But even when offered the opportunity to become an international film star by Italian producer Carlo Ponti, Obermaier refuses to trade her freedom for fleeting fame. A fifteen year-old girl experiencing the first pangs of womanhood accompanies her mentally retarded brother as he begins to experience his sexual awakening in this effort from German director Sven Taddicken. Approaching his thirtieth birthday but possessing a mind developed years behind his physical growth, Josh (Roman Knizka) likes to pretend he's a vampire while joking with sister Nicole (Marie-Luise Schramm). Meanwhile, security guard brother Mike (innerk Schonemann), quickly racking up a long list of sexual conquests, has recently added yet another notch in his belt with the seduction of his boss Nadine (Julia Jentsch). A would-be ad man starts talking his way to the top, only to discover he has a shortage of usable ideas in this satiric German comedy. Viktor Vogel (Alexander Scheer) is a college student who decides he's tired of studying advertising and wants to go out and start making a living, even though he has more in the way of bluster than experience. Viktor fast-talks his way into a meeting at a major advertising agency and somehow his double talk impresses one of the firm's top executives, who hires him on the spot. Viktor is teamed up Eddie Kaminsky (Gotz George), one of the agencies top directors, and Eddie (who makes his dislike of Viktor immediately clear) needs an idea for a new campaign on the spot. Viktor pitches an idea to Eddie, who decides to go with it, but there's one problem -- it's the same idea Viktor's new girlfriend Rosa (Chulpan Khamatova) came up with for an art project. Obviously, neither side will be happy when they discover they're both using the same idea, so Viktor has to ask himself if his loyalties lie with his new employers or his significant other.
