Director Morley Markson interviews political radicals of the 1960s in this informative social documentary. Twenty years after riots were sparked by anti-war protesters at the 1968 Democratic convention in Chicago, the same activists take a retrospective look at the turbulent times. Newsreel clips are inserted in between interviews with Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, John Sinclair, Fred Hampton Jr., poet Allan Ginsberg, and LSD guru Timothy Leary. Also interviewed are Chicago Seven defense attorney William Kunstler, John Cox, and Deborah Russell. ~ Dan Pavlides, All Movie Guide

Director George Pal is noted as a special effects maestro, both in films for children that feature his "puppetoons" and in sci-fi spectacles like the War of the Worlds. So it is no surprise that this sci-fi yarn about the fabled sunken continent of Atlantis should excel in the special effects department. Otherwise, the story is a clichéd tale about Demetrios (Anthony Hall) a Greek fisherman who is tempted into going to Atlantis by Antillia (Joyce Taylor), a princess of that doomed land. Demetrios is soon trapped into slavery, a situation which leads him to hobnob with the oppressed masses and plan a strategy to get them out of there before the rumblings of imminent submersion send the whole kit and caboodle into the briny deep. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

Night after night, Julia Reddy (Anne Francis) is left home alone while her husband, Marco (Edmund Hashim), works overtime with his brothers. Out of boredom one evening, Julia calls the police and makes up a story about seeing a prowler in the neighborhood -- and when a detective (Jack Ging) shows up, Julia puts the moves on the poor fellow. Under normal circumstances, Julia would be asking for a lot of trouble; instead, she unwittingly performs a great public service. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
The British Rock You Sinners revolves around the exploits of deejay Philip Gilbert. With the coming of the rock 'n' roll revolution, Gilbert ascends to superstardom. Not surprisingly, he becomes vain and egotistical, alienating everyone around him, including true-blue girlfriend Adrienne Scott. He is forced to consume mass quantities of humble pie before the final fadeout. The musical acts in Rock You Sinners include Tony Crombie and His Rockets, Rory Blackwell and the Blackjacks, Don Sollah and His Rockin' Horses and George "Calypso" Browne (bet you were hoping that the Silver Beatles and Rory Storm and the Hurricanes would show up unnannounced; sorry). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
