The 1981 mythological fantasy adventure Clash of the Titans is resurrected in this remake from Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier. The joint Legendary Films/Warner Bros. production focuses on Perseus (Sam Worthington), the mortal hero made to carry out a series of quests by the gods in order to win the hand of the imprisoned princess Andromeda (Alexa Davalos). Based on the animated series by Peter Chung, Aeon Flux imagines a future in which 99 percent of the world's population is killed through industrial disease, and the survivors live in a single city that, despite utopian appearances, is quite totalitarian. Disinclined to embrace any particular ideology outside of a hatred for Trevor Goodchild (Marton Csokas), the leader of the council that governs the walled city, hyper-sexualized assassin Aeon Flux (Charlize Theron) seeks to bring about a revolution. Various lives intersect to curious results in this sometimes surreal tale of life in Silverlake, from the duo who scripted crazy/beautiful and The Tuxedo. As Chinese-food restaurant and donut shop owner Cyr's (Brian Cox) obsessive-compulsive leanings begin to get the best of him, his workers' lives seem to be falling into a bizarre state of disrepair. Manager Sung (Alexis Cruz) soon begins to tire of Cyr's increasingly odd tendencies, and fortune-cookie message scribe Dwight's (Jamie Kennedy) girlfriend has recently decided to end their relationship; leaving Dwight to vent his frustrations by penning various inappropriate message for the restaurant's fortune cookies. When Mitchell discovers a fortune that reads "You will meet the girl of your dreams" and subsequently runs into a prospective female, his unyielding affections are seemingly rejected, crushing the lonely soul's hopes for love. Meanwhile, Ernie (Chris Bauer) and Olive's (Christina Kirk) marriage seems to be heading south for reason's yet unknown, and a successful businessman (Michael Hitchcock) grows increasingly distressed when he loses his job after losing his cool at a business dinner. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Clothes make the superspy in this high-energy action comedy. Jimmy Tong (Jackie Chan) is a well-meaning but clumsy New York City cab driver who is tapped by Steena (Debi Mazar), associate to multi-millionaire Clark Devlin (Jason Isaacs), for a new job as Devlin's personal limo driver. After a mysterious accident lands Devlin in the hospital, Tong learns that his new boss has a secret -- when he's not wheeling and dealing in high finance, Devlin is also a secret agent for the CSA, a top-level security agency. The secret to Devlin's success as a spy is his trademark tuxedo, a suit which is loaded with special gadgets which turns him into a high-tech fighting machine. After Tong dons the tuxedo and is transformed into a martial arts master, he takes over for Devlin and discovers that the agent's injuries didn't happen by accident. As Tong tries to chase down a handful of international super-villains bent on world conquest, he has to deal with Devlin's new partner, Del Blaine (Jennifer Love Hewitt), a CSA rookie who is just as baffled by her new assignment as Tong. The Romeo and Juliet story has been modernized to a high school setting previously, but this romance from director John Stockwell turns the tale inside out. Jay Hernandez stars as Carlos Nunez, a poor but athletically gifted Latino teenager who endures a two-hour bus ride every day from East L.A. to attend the posh, wealthy Pacific Palisades High School in Los Angeles on a football scholarship. A straight-A student, Carlos is focused and driven, but his future is cast in doubt when he becomes the flirtation target of spoiled, self-destructive bad girl Nicole Oakley (Kirsten Dunst), who's the daughter of a prominent congressman (Bruce Davison). When his friends, family, and even Nicole's own father oppose the romance for Carlos' sake, he chooses to ignore their advice and stubbornly pursues his relationship with Nicole, whose feelings grow from simple physical attraction to something much deeper.
