It's a cornerstone of the Christian faith that Jesus Christ rose from the dead just over 2,000 years ago, and with modern science affording contemporary theologians the opportunity to investigate this historical event more closely than ever, ABC News anchor Elizabeth Vargas travels to Jerusalem to discover just what events truly transpired in the days following Christ's historical crucifixion. Vargas isn't alone in her quest though, and with the assistance of numerous highly-respected religious scholars and archeologists, the determined reporter explores the mystery of Christ's tomb, and attempts to discover whether he truly walked the Earth in the days after his very public demise, or merely appeared to the faithful as a religious vision. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Dan Brown's best-selling novel The DaVinci Code helped to open up a new level of debate about the life of Jesus Christ, and documentary filmmaker Elizabeth Vargas uses some of this speculation as a springboard for this film about undocumented aspects of the life of Christ. ABC News Presents: Jesus, Mary and DaVinci features interviews with historians, theologians, and philosophers as Vargas addresses such controversial questions as whether or not Jesus took Mary Magdalene as his wife, if they had children, and if those offspring might have any living descendents today, while also attempting to fill in the missing chapters of the life of Christ. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

Assembled by the same team responsible for the ABC documentary series Hopkins 24/7, this four-part miniseries went behind the walls of one of America's most honored pediatric hospitals. Located in Little Rock, AR, Children's was dedicated to providing the best possible care for children with the most extreme of ailments -- especially in the intensive-care unit. The opening episode set the pace for the rest of the series, as Dr. Jonathan Drummond-Webb, chief of cardiac surgery, supervised a brace of heart transplants (among other cases). Narrated by Elizabeth Vargas, ICI: Arkansas Children's Hospital premiered August 7, 2002. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
