From the same production team responsible for Two and a Half Men, the CBS "nerd-com" The Big Bang Theory clued the viewer in on what to expect right from the get-go by naming its two main characters "Sheldon" and "Leonard" (though all resemblance to the famous gangster actor-turned-TV producer ended right there!) They were both brilliant physicists, living together in a technology-cluttered apartment, and spending their free time with a circle of fellow geeks from Cal Tech. And, need we add, bbwsof course, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) were despite their hyper-intelligence hopelessly "backward" on a social level; after all, it isn't easy to pick up girls when the only things you know how to talk about are isotopes and video games. Our heroes were thrown for a mobius strip when the incredibly beautiful and voluptuous Penny (Kaley Cuoco), a recent divorcee, moved into the apartment next door. Fascinated by the two "Beautiful Mind Guys", Penny decided to hang around with Sheldon and Leonard whenever possible. Having seldom been in such close proximity to a genuinely gorgeous girl, Leonard was anxious to make a few moves (assuming he knew any!), but Sheldon, perpetually unlucky in love, kept his distance, convinced that he'd only have his heart broken again. Occasionally dropping in for the random punchline were the boys' college pals, the loquacious Howard (Simon Helberg) and the virtually mute Rajesh (Kunai Nayyar). The Big Bang Theory was first networkcast on September 24, 2007. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
An old fable gets a high-tech update in this computer-animated comedy from Walt Disney Pictures. Chicken Little (voice of Zach Braff) is an earnest young fowl living in the town of Oakley Oaks who one day starts a panic when a falling acorn drops on his head, and he warns everyone that the sky has started to collapse. Chicken Little was wrong, of course, much to the embarrassment of his father, Buck Cluck (voice of Garry Marshall), and now the young chicken is struggling to live down the incident. While his best friends Abby Mallard (voice of Joan Cusack), Runt of the Litter (voice of Steve Zahn), and Fish out of Water stand by him, the school's star athlete Foxy Loxy (voice of Amy Sedaris) never passes up an opportunity to make fun of the diminutive chicken. As a result, Chicken Little tends to keep his more recent discoveries to himself, but what's a bird to do when he uncovers pseudo-scientific evidence that suggests the sky really is starting to fall, in large hexagonal chunks? Chicken Little was directed by Mark Dindal, who previously helmed The Emperor's New Groove for Disney. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

Imagination is a live performance video interspersed with interviews with music legend Brian Wilson, and other artists who worked with him or were influenced by him. Wilson, the singer/songwriter powerhouse that drove the Beach Boys to fame and fortune, released his new album of the same name in 1998. This groundbreaking effort is a testament to Wilson's continued musical genius, and revitalized career after long years of personal struggle. The closed-captioned video features Wilson singing with a band composed of such rock greats as Timothy B. Schmitt of the Eagles, as well as Bruce Johnson and Joe Thomas of the Beach Boys. Beach Boy classics, penned by Wilson, are in the repertoire : "California Girls", "In My Room", "Don't Worry Baby". Notable selections in the new material are "South America", and "Your Imagination".Guest stars include Christopher Cross, Jimmy Buffett, Stevie Wonder, Eric Claptan, Elvis Costello, and Glen Campbell.
