Cindy Leadbetter (Rats, The Lonely Lady) stars in this soft-core Italian exploitation film from director Aldo Grimaldi. Leadbetter plays Barbara, a young woman who decides to sleep with several people in one day to get revenge on her unfaithful boyfriend (Vassili Karis). There's lesbianism, disco, a threesome with a man and his Brazilian girlfriend, some ghastly clothing, and the obligatory synth-heavy soundtrack by Fabio Frizzi, best-known for scoring the horror films of Lucio Fulci. Anna Maria Climenti co-stars with Carlo De Mejo, Maurice Poli, and Diana Da Cruz. Francesca Antonaci is memorable as a seductive hitchhiker. ~ Robert Firsching, Rovi

Testa T'Ammazzo, Croce . . . Sei Morto . . . Mi Chiamano Alleluja was the original title of this spaghetti western. Also, Guns for Dollars was but one of its English-language titles: others include They Call Me Hallelujah and A Fistful of Lead. George Hilton is one of four mercenaries who fight in the Mexican revolution for fun and profit. Warfare is forgotten as the scroungy quartet search for a hidden fortune in gold. Some of the best scenes pit Hilton against a Russian Cossack who, by default, is also one of the good guys. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

The scene is a remote Mexican sea village. Four local fisherman reluctantly agree to play "surrogate daddy" for an orphan. They come to realize the wisdom of their decision as their lives undergo profound and wondrous changes. As the title indicates, the film has its share of religious overtones. Those who might be put off by this are advised that there's also a generous supply of comedy. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

This historical epic from Italy tells the stories of two of the most memorable figures in the Old Testament. Gideon (Ivo Garrani) saves the children of Israel when, under God's command, he defeats the Midianites by destroying the altar of Baal. In the second half of the film, Sampson (Anton Geesink) is the most physically powerful man in the world -- until he falls prey to the allure of the wily Delilah (Rosalba Neri). Fernando Rey highlights the supporting cast. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

This Dino De Laurentiis production from 1965 is actually an anthology of five different directors' work, each telling their own stories about witches. The five stories are "The Witch Burned Alive," "Civic Sense," "The Earth As Seen From The Moon," "The Girl From Sicily," and "A Night Like Any Other." Silvia Mangano appears in all five, with Clint Eastwood starring in the last featured vignette. Like many gang-directed projects, this film is also plagued by a lack of continuity and by the pretentiousness of the individual directors. ~ Dan Pavlides, Rovi
