In the first episode of a three-part story, the Moya crew continues searching for Katratzi, the elusive Scarran base where Aeryn (Claudia Black) is being held captive. PC is a super smart Jack Russell Terrier (Forrest) who knows how to use a computer thanks to his brilliant owner Alex (Norman Kaye), who has just learned the secret whereabouts of $1million and stored it on a computer disk which he gives to PC for safekeeping. The evil Anja (Sandy Gore) learns about the treasure and takes care of Alex, but not before the hacker instructs PC to find his pal Susie. PC is nearly to Susie's house when he is almost run over by a car. Stephen (Joe Petruzzi), the driver, and Amy (Rachael Blake), his wife and his kids Zac (Nathan Cavaleri) and Binby (Freyja Meere) see that the dog is okay and take him home. Luckily, the family lives next door to Susan and her adolescent daughter Samantha (Emilie Francois). Zac and Sam become friends while PC figures out how to talk via Zac's computer, which can interpret the dog's barks and whines. "Luigi" (David Rappaport) is a Cockney immigrant to Australia, whose job as maitre d' in a high-toned Italian restaurant requires that he take on an ethnic monniker and phony accent. Over time, he has become the confidante of a trio of his customer, yuppie women, all of them friends with each other, who have just lost substantial amounts of money during a sudden drop in the stock market in 1987. Each of them is propelled by this into a series of humorous adventures, including a "rebirthing" session, and an attempted murder (using tainted jam), which they recount to Luigi and to each other over the course of the film. ~ Clarke Fountain, Rovi

Underrated leading man Jeff Fahey carries most of the dramatic weight of the Australian Wrangler. Fahey plays a handsome, athletic businessman who vies for the hand of rancher's daughter Tushika Bergen. Our hero must not only contend with his romantic rival, a dashing but dangerous cattleman (Steven Vidler), but also with a villainous creditor who craves the land left to Bergen by her late father. By nature of its plotline and setting, Wrangler can't help but invite comparisons to the popular The Man From Snowy River. Still, the stars and director Ian Barry keep up the appearances of freshness and originality. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

In this complex teen movie, Vinnie (Vince Colosimo) is a young man whose life is an uphill battle: he is an outcast at school because he cannot get along with either teachers or students, he is a local courier for Mafia-boss Ciccio at night and, when not so occupied, spends his time practicing boxing at the gym. He shares his mother's cramped home in government housing with two other siblings, and his mother's lover -- whom he does not like. He is haunted by images of his father (when just a boy he witnessed his father's murder), and his father's boxing career and Mafia involvement set a pattern for Vinnie's current lifestyle. When Vinnie's music teacher Bonnie (Sandy Gore) enters his life, she encourages him to get involved as a drummer with the school band, while his girlfriend Gloria (Sigrid Thornton) and others influence him to stay away from the Mafia. In fact, there are so many characters that circle around Vinnie's life doing their own thing that the focus tends to thin out -- yet the actors and director Michael Pattinson do the best they can with this slightly overcrowded script. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi

In this Australian coming-of-age comedy, a 13-year old boy falls in love with his seductive sister-in-law. Though much older, she is touched by his crush and begins to teach him about lovemaking.
