A supermodel with the savvy to create her own empire, Heidi Klum hit gold with a perfect amalgam of high fashion and reality TV. Born in Germany, Klum began modeling when she was just a teenager, after submitting photos to a German modeling agency on a whim. She toured Europe as a model, eventually coming to the United States, where she found even greater success -- cemented by her posing for the coveted cover of Sports Illustrated in 1998. Klum became a spokesmodel for Victoria's Secret, and also began taking some small roles in films, like 2000's Blow Dry. In 2004, she became the executive producer and host of a show on Bravo called Project Runway, in which fashion design hopefuls were presented with a variety of challenges and judged on their talent and ability, facing an elimination in every episode until a winner was crowned. The show was a huge hit, and Klum became even more of brand in and of herself.Klum was married to celebrity hairstylist Ric Pipino in 1997, though the couple divorced in 2002. She also had a relationship with Formula One manager Flavio Briatore, and though it did not last, the couple had a daughter together, Helene (aka "Leni"). In 2005, Klum married singer and musician Seal, who raised Helene as his own along with the couple's other children. ~ Cammila Albertson, All Movie Guide

Standout contestants include Chris March, a sensitive costume designer with a memorable laugh; Christian Siriano, outlandish in both attitude and fashion sense; and Kathleen "Sweet P" Vaughn, whose subdued designs belie her tattooed exterior. Sarah Jessica Parker, Donna Karan, Roberto Cavalli, and Victoria Beckham are among the guest judges joining series regulars Klum, Michael Kors, and Nina Garcia to critique and eliminate the clothiers. Tiki Barber appears in an episode that finds the designers crafting a look for the former NFL player to wear on air. Other memorable challenges include using candy to make a garment, refitting an outfit for women who have lost weight, and updating outdated sportswear. ~ All Movie Guide

Lauren Weisberger's best-selling novel about a young woman who stumbles into the hectic worlds of high fashion and publishing comes to the big screen in this comedy. Andrea "Andy" Sachs (Anne Hathaway) is a bright young woman from the Midwest who has just graduated from college and wants to work as a magazine writer. Andy has applied for a job at "Runway," America's most prestigious fashion journal; though Andy has little to no interest in the garment trade, they are one of the only magazines in New York with a job opening -- second assistant to editor Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep). As Andy quickly learns, Miranda is a diva with plenty of power within the magazine business and she isn't afraid to use it, and though Andy lands the job (primarily by being in the right place at the right time), she soon learns that working for Miranda could test the patience of a saint thanks to her endless demands and refusal to acknowledge the end of a work day. Andy struggles to hold on to the job and her sanity, knowing that a recommendation from Miranda can open nearly any door at any magazine, but can she handle the pressure without losing her mind along the way? The Devil Wears Prada also stars Stanley Tucci, Emily Blunt, and Adrian Grenier. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

The often-troubled life of one of the greatest comic actors in the history of the British cinema provides the basis for this biopic. Peter Sellers (Geoffrey Rush) was raised by a domineering mother (Miriam Margolyes) and meek father (Peter Vaughan), and at an early age discovered he liked to hide behind the emotional curtain of playing a character. In time, Sellers put this skill to use as an actor, and discovered he had a great gift for comedy. In the late '50s, Sellers rose to fame on the wildly popular radio series The Goon Show alongside Spike Milligan (Edward Tudor Pole) and Harry Secombe (Steve Pemberton), but as his success on radio gave way to stardom on the big screen, Sellers' ego began to get the better of him. While working on a film with Sophia Loren (Sonia Aquino), Sellers fell in love with the great Italian beauty, and eventually left his wife Anne (Emily Watson) to pursue her; when it became clear that Loren wanted nothing to do with him, Sellers fell into an affair with her stand-in instead. Professionally, Sellers career hits a new high when he agrees to take a role in a picture being directed by American filmmaker Blake Edwards (John Lithgow) called The Pink Panther, and personally he finds a new love with the beautiful Britt Ekland (Charlize Theron). But Sellers' mood swings eventually put paid to their marriage, and while he finds commercial success as a funnyman onscreen, he achieves little in the way of happiness or respect. Produced for the American premium cable service HBO, The Life and Death of Peter Sellers was screened in competition at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

This performance video is a collection of highlights from standup comedy routines made during a tour across America during the summer of 2002. Directed by C.B. Harding (The Osbournes), The Blue Collar Comedy Tour Movie also incorporates behind-the-scenes segments with the individual comedians. Along the same lines as The Original Kings of Comedy, but marketed toward a radically different crowd, this comedy concert headlines the top names in so-called "redneck" humor: Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Larry the Cable Guy. This film arrives after the four performers spent two years on the road and released the best-selling comedy record Blue Collar Comedy Tour Live. ~ Andrea LeVasseur, All Movie Guide

When the tiny burgh of Keighley lands the rights to host the annual British hairdressing championships, practically every city in the United Kingdom is represented in the competition -- except Keighley itself. It seems the event is team-oriented, and the only suitable local contestants had a huge falling out a decade ago. For Brian (Josh Hartnett), the son of two hairdressers, that falling out had personal consequences: His mother Shelley (Natasha Richardson) left his father Phil (Alan Rickman) to take up with Phil's hair model Sandra (Rachel Griffiths). Since then, former styling champ Phil has settled for training Brian to help run his lowly barber shop, while Shelley and Sandra have opened a salon of their own. But when Shelley learns that she has terminal cancer, she reaches out to her family in hopes that a reunion for the hairdressing contest might help them all find some sense of closure. To complicate matters, Phil's old arch-nemesis, Ray (Bill Nighy), is now a two-time champ looking for a three-peat, and he's brought along his beautiful American daughter Christina (Rachael Leigh Cook) to work on his team. Blow Dry also marks the screen debut of supermodel Heidi Klum. ~ Brian J. Dillard, All Movie Guide

Shot on location in Mexico and Malaysia, this documentary follows the photo shoots that produced the images for the year 2000 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Hosted by comedian and actor Damon Wayans and produced much like a Playboy Playmate video, the video consists of sequences that find models like Kristy Hinze, Heidi Klum and Kylie Bax posing and then talking with Wayans about life on the set. Several of the magazine photographers are also interviewed. The footage featured during Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Video: 2000 is often times more explicit than the images in the magazine and may not be suitable for young viewers. Sports Illustrated has been filming the many models that have graced its pages since the early 1990's and also has produced an interesting retrospective, ports Illustrated Swimsuit Video: 25th Anniversary. ~ Ed Atkinson, All Movie Guide
In much the same way Playboy makes videos of the Playmates from their magazine, Sports Illustrated follows up its 1999 swimsuit issue with a behind the scenes video that offers more to see than the pages capture. Cameras follow the photographers, crew and models around the world and capture the backstage jokes, bloopers and intimate conversations that took place while shooting. Models Heidi Klum, Laetitia Casta and Rebecca Romjin also discuss the stress of being on set and life as a supermodel. Some of the footage may not be suitable for younger audiences. ~ Ed Atkinson, All Movie Guide
It is hardly a mystery why the Sport Illustrated Swimsuit Issue has become one of the most popular single issue magazines year in and year out. People's fascination with scantily clad women in exoctic locations is as close to a sure thing, in terms of sales, as you can get. And so it only makes sense for the magazine to back up its 1998 magazine release with a shot on location documentary. Filmed much like a Playboy Playmate video, the images range from behind the scenes shennigans, to wind wisped slow motion pans of the female body. Several of the scenes have voiced over interviews with photographers, camera crew and models Eva Herzigova, Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks accompanying the images. This video is definetly more risque than the magazine and may not be suitable for younger audiences. ~ Ed Atkinson, All Movie Guide
Each episode of The Secret World of... takes viewers behind the scenes to discover a tiny world within a world. Often, these are things and places taken for granted. In these videos, viewers take a look at the work that is necessary to keep the world running smoothly. In this episode, viewers examine the high-fashion and high-pressure world of supermodels. Many will discover that what looks easy actually involves a grueling amount of work. ~ Rob Ferrier, All Movie Guide
When Sid (Sid Newman) dies, nearly all of the crew members of The Larry Sanders Show find themselves in mourning. Having just told Sid in a jealous rage that the audience was laughing "at" him instead of "with" him following a successful skit, Hank (Jeffrey Tambor) is especially affected due to the fact that he feels partially responsible for Sid's death. As Hank vows to offer financial support to Sid's family, Larry (Garry Shandling) attempts to keep his relationship with Laura Dern a secret. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
