Egyptian-born Canadian vocalist Chantal Chamandy performs against the majestic backdrop of the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx in a concert staged to promote peace through cultural exchange. With the Cairo Symphony Orchestra to back her and a troupe of ten dancers to dazzle the cheering crowd, Chamandy becomes the first artist ever permitted to perform at the base of the Pyramids on the Giza plateau. Captured live on September 7, 2007, the performance offers a unique blend of showtunes, traditional Arabic songs, and original compositions, and features special appearances by the Egyptian National Ballet, a Darbouks drum band, Tanoura dancers, and an Egyptian marching band. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

An elaborate fantasy tale intended for family audiences, Babel tells the story of the Babels, a strange breed of four-foot-tall creatures who once coexisted happily with human beings on planet Earth. However, when the humans built a huge tower to taunt God, he became angry and drove the Babels underground, while scattering the humans to the corners of the Earth and giving them different languages to keep them separate. Thousands of years later, three Babels are searching underground for the Babel Stone presented to them by God when they lose the map -- which is soon snapped up by a dog, who presents it to his master, an advertising man named Patrick. The Babels are desperate to recover the map, and they recruit Patrick's son David to help them find it (and the Babel Stone) before the evil Nemrod can steal the stone and claim its powers. Featuring a cast of French and Canadian actors, including Maria de Medeiros and Michel Jonasz, Babel was shown at Sprockets: Toronto Film Festival for Children in April 1999. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

Add Roger Hodgson: Take the Long Way Home - Live in Montreal to Queue Add Roger Hodgson: Take the Long Way Home - Live in Montreal to top of Queue
Best known as the longtime frontman for British prog/art rock band Supertramp, Roger Hodgson left that group to launch a solo career in 1984, but a physical accident kept him out of commission for a lengthy period of time. He rebounded in the 1990s, however, first as a contributor to Yes recordings, then as a recording artist in a two-man act that also included his son. Hodgson headlines the solo performance film Roger Hodgson: Take the Long Way Home - Live in Montreal, in which he plays a combination of tracks from his Supertramp years and solo gigs before an audience in Montreal. Selections include: "Take the Long Way Home," "The Logical Song," "Easy Does It" and "Sister Moonshine." ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
