In the season finale episode, "Anthology of Interest I," Professor Farnsworth unveils his "What-if" machine and Bender, Leela, and Fry each get a chance to ask it a question. Bender asks what it would be like if he were 500 feet tall, so he becomes a giant and flies to Earth to the tune of Black Sabbath's "Iron Man." He befriends a boy (Fry) and accidentally destroys the city in a take on The Iron Giant. The Professor then makes Dr. Zoidberg a giant so they can fight each other. Leela asks what it would be like if she were more impulsive, so she ends up killing the Professor in order to get his fortune. As people find out about the murder, she is forced to kill them one by one until she has killed almost everyone. Fry asks what it would be like if he were never cryogenically frozen in 1999. He ends up meeting the Action Rangers -- made up of scientist Stephen Hawking, Vice President Al Gore, Star Trek actress Nichelle Nichols, and Dungeons and Dragons creator Gary Gygax. ~ Andrea LeVasseur, All Movie Guide

Because they work at the same place, Fry thinks Amy is smothering him and he wants to break up. Just as he is about to tell her that it's over, they get into a serious car accident and his head is transferred onto Amy's body. Meanwhile, Bender has started up a computer dating service and both Leela and Fry sign up for it. Amy goes out with Gary for Valentine's Day while Leela and Fry meet their match-ups from Bender's dating service. Fry, Leela, and Bender meet the rest of the Planet Express crew: boss man Hermes Conrad (voice of Phil LaMarr), intern Amy Wong (voice of Lauren Tom), and doctor John Zoidberg (voice of Billy West). With Leela as their captain, the first assignment is a delivery to the moon. Fry is really excited about his first trip to the moon, but everyone else thinks it's no big deal. The only thing on the moon is a big amusement park called Luna Park and it's all very commercial. They go on some carnival rides after they make the delivery, and Amy loses the keys to the ship. Leela and Fry take off on a rover ride to explore the other parts of the moon's surface away from the tourist traps. To appease the aliens, the crew decides to re-create the final episode with Leela playing Jenny McNeal, the "Single Female Lawyer." ~ Andrea LeVasseur, All Movie Guide

Claiming to represent an advanced race on the planet Euronda, Alar (Rene Auberjonois) offers to share his people's technology with the Earth. In exchange, Alar solicits Earth's support in winning a war on his planet by defeating a "dangerous" enemy race. O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) is agreeable to this exchange, but Jackson (Michael Shanks) suspects that Alar is not telling the whole truth--and, as usual, Jackson is right. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
Just as Homer Simpson (voice of Dan Castellaneta) has convinced himself he's the most popular guy in the neighborhood when he mans the microphone and moves much merchandise at a neighborhood garage sale, he discovers he has new competition as top dog in Springfield when former president George Bush (voice of Harry Shearer) moves in across the street. Homer and George don't quite hit it off, though Marge (voice of Julie Kavner) gets along just fine with one-time First Lady Barbara (voice of Maggie Roswell); the real trouble, though, comes when Bart (voice of Nancy Cartwright) starts showing up at the Bush household uninvited, usually causing trouble. One day, Bart accidentally destroys the manuscript to George's just-completed memoirs with an outboard motor, and George angrily gives the boy a spanking. Homer is outraged that Bush has taken away his "right to raise a disobedient, smart-aleky son," and soon it's all-out war between Homer and the former president. Meanwhile, Springfield Elementary School institutes a policy forcing the students to wear uniforms, and soon the kids are so mired in conformity that they begin blinking in unison. "Two Bad Neighbors" first aired on January 14, 1996; it also marked one of the very few times that a celebrity who was a significant character on the show did not provide his or her own voice (though given the numerous jokes at George Bush's expense, it's no great surprise he didn't participate in this episode). ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
Fay decides to sell off the possessions of her three late husbands, all of whom were named George. In consequence, the ghosts of the three Georges return to haunt Fay and give her what-for her act of "selfishness." Elsewhere, Brian (Steven Weber) and Casey (Amy Yasbeck) go out on a Valentine's Day date despite their breakup, and customer Russell Meany (Taylor Nichols) hires Sandpiper Air to stage a spectacular marriage proposal -- to a girl who can't stand the sight of him. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
