Having survived the attack that killed Tessa in the previous episode, Richie (Stan Kirsch) realizes that he, like his friend Duncan (Adrian Paul), is an Immortal. Thus emboldened, Richie fearlessly stops an attempted assassination, bringing about the death of another Immortal, the husband of Irish terrorist Annie Devlin (Sheena Easton).
