Fifteen years after their college graduation, a group of fun-loving thirty-somethings reunites for a friend's wedding, realizing just how much their lives have changed over the course of one long, nostalgic weekend. Back in 1991, David, Richard, Ted, and Will thought the world was their oyster. Flash forward a little over a decade, and aspiring software entrepreneur David is fielding tech support calls while trademark attorney Richard attempts to recover after a bitter divorce, Will runs errands in a recording studio while attempting to launch his acting career, and uptight businessman Ted is about to lose his job. Back in school, the four old friends sang with Greg, who's just announced that he's about to get married on Long Island and wants to reunite the group to sing at his wedding. Meeting at the family beach house of the Zen-like Spooner for rehearsal, the guys even manage to convince Steven -- the lone "successful" member of the group -- to take a break from producing a reality show about Vanna White and drop by for the big event. Later, at Spooner's, the men and their significant others start to mingle as Steven and Michelle's 23-year-old Swedish nanny Elsa sends the men into a pre-mid-life panic. While it's anyone's guess as to how this wedding will turn out, by the time the long weekend is over, a bar fight, a playful skinny dipping session, a near-death experience, and an outrageous sex fantasy help the lifelong friends to both readjust their perspectives, and reevaluate their priorities. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
When a once-successful a cappella singing group reunites to perform at a fellow singer's wedding, regrets from the past and hopes for the future all come pouring out into the open in director Bruce Leddy's nostalgic reunion film. In college they were treated like rock stars, but these days life isn't so glamorous for the singers whose fleeting taste of fame preceded a humbling fall into relative obscurity. It's been 15 years since the group has performed together, but when one of their own prepares to take his wedding vows and requests that the group back him up, no one can resist the opportunity to recapture a little bit of that old magic. From the recently downsized Ted and the newly divorced Richard to music-studio peon Will and frustrated tech support guy Dave, the future just didn't turn out how these golden-voiced crooners had hoped; only the mellow Spooner and Los Angeles-based TV producer Steven seem truly fulfilled in their current status. But now their buddy Greg is getting married, and the time has come to celebrate his nuptials in song. As the largely frustrated but still talented lot arrives at Spooner's sprawling family beach house in order to rehearse for their performance, these longtime friends will finally have the opportunity to lay to rest longtime grudges, reveal longstanding secrets, and test the strength of their powerful bond on the eve of a life-altering event that promises to bring them closer together than ever before. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Jason London stars in this teen wish fulfillment romantic comedy, playing Todd Boomer, a would-be cartoonist who needs a recommendation to Harvard from his smarmy math teacher (Christopher MacDonald). However, calculus is the one subject in which Todd isn't pulling his weight. One rainy night he picks up a woman stranded by the side of the road who needs a ride (Tia Carrere). The woman turns out to be a whiz in his rusty subject, and she begins tutoring him. Only later does he start to fall for her -- and only later does he realize she's the wife of his math teacher. Although they begin a tentative affair, both are constantly worried about being discovered, which could ruin each in different ways. Meanwhile, Todd runs afoul of his own doting girlfriend, Kirsten (Alexondra Lee), as well as his best friend Paul (Zak Orth), who has a crush on Kirsten. The happy trio is splintered by Todd's romantic dalliances. My Teacher's Wife uses Todd's drawings, actually inked by cartoonist Bill Plympton, as loose narration. ~ Derek Armstrong, All Movie Guide
