A man learns the hard way just how bad he's been to his girlfriend in this independent drama laced with dark humor. Conrad (Michael Rodrick) is a high-strung, impulsive man who shares a home with his fiancée, Jennifer (Debbie Rochon). While their relationship has not always been cordial, Conrad crosses a line when he discovers a pornographic videotape has been left at his front door -- and that Jennifer is the female lead in the movie. A violent quarrel follows, ending with Conrad raping Jennifer. Furious, Jennifer soon gets revenge by cutting off Conrad's penis with a pair of scissors, and then holding his member for ransom. While Conrad is told by a surgeon that his penis could possibly be reattached, Jennifer wants 10,000 dollars for the organ, money he doesn't have, and he discovers she fully intends to use this situation to settle a large number of old scores. Nowhere Man also features a cameo appearance from Troma Team Pictures head Lloyd Kaufman in a rare non-comic role. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

This docudrama recaps the history of silicone breast implants, beginning in 1962 when idealistic Houston medical resident Kevin Saunders (David Schwimmer) gets an idea after seeing how women pad their bras. After he shares his notion with cosmetic pro Dr. William Larson (Chris Cooper), the two create a prosthetic breast from Dow-Corning's silicone gel. Approaching women on the street fails to bring volunteers, but a classified newspaper ad does the trick. As breast sizes increase, so do the doctors' bank accounts. However, physical problems emerge, followed by lawsuits, and the high life soon turns sour and grim. Filmed in LA, and Texas (Galveston, Houston), this TV movie premiered December 13, 1997 on HBO. ~ Bhob Stewart, Rovi

Two small-time scumbags let greed get them in way over their heads in this taut and genuinely suspenseful actioner. Pete Gulley and his partner A.J. Railey are petty con artists who barely get by. At one point, the two dupe visitors into buying bogus cocaine. Later they quietly catch a real drug dealer preparing to send a box full of drugs at the post-office. The opportunistic Gulley and Railey pull a hasty switcheroo and send those drugs to the people they sold the phony ones to in Virginia. They then head for that place to wait for the lucrative box. Trouble arises when Lynn suddenly shows up to the Virginia house looking for her lover. Suddenly all three find themselves caught up in a complex psychological game during which each of them plays cruel captor and captured victim. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
