While 34-year-old "supermom" Margo Dalton (Juile Warner) is being treated for uncontrollable muscle spasms, her daughter Stella (Ellie Fanning) runs amok throughout the clinic. The doctors are unable to find the reason for Margo's bizarre affliction, mainly because (surprise!) she has been lying to her husband about her medical condition. As for House (Hugh Laurie), he and Stacy (Sela Ward) have come to an "understanding" which permits him to wallow in misery as only he can, while Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard), who has had plenty of romantic misadventures of his own, tries to help House pick up the pieces. And after her run-in with AIDs patient in the earlier episode "Hunting", Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) is worried that she is now HIV-positive. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Sharona (Bitty Schram) insists that she's been confronted by a dying man soaked in blood, but when Monk (Tony Shalhoub) investigates the body has disappeared and the "crime scene" is spotless. In the days that follow, Sharona comes face to face with the bloodied man on two further occasions, but is unable to convince anyone of what she's seen. Worried that she's been merely hallucinating, Sharona takes a few days off while her nurse friend Varla (Niecy Nash) takes her place. Before long, Monk is investigating whether or not Sharona has been telling the truth...if only to escape from the overbearing Varla! ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

This spy show from David E. Kelley centered on an unconventional private-investigation firm with an arsenal of high-tech toys and a general disregard for the Constitution. The agency's newest hire (Gina Gershon) was a straightlaced, former police detective who was wary of her new colleagues' rule-breaking ways. ~ Joe Friedrich, Rovi

Made by and for the TNT cable network, this sharp, satirical courtroom drama skewers the increasingly symbiotic relationship between the judicial system and popular media. The story centers on the trial of a famous model (Gina Gershon) who has been accused of murder. The media touts it "the trial of the century," a notion notorious celebrity lawyer Norman Keane (James Garner) does nothing to dispel. He also doesn't seem to be concerned about the myriad of rumors flying through the airwaves. Reporter Brenda Whitlas (Kathleen Turner) is not as easily fooled as the public and tries to ferret out the truth. Meanwhile a rookie lawyer involved in the case tries desperately to stay afloat amidst the confusion. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi

This romantic comedy looks at the notion that opposites attract. Actress Anne Henning (Traylor Howard) is hired for a soap-opera role as the girlfriend of the daytime drama's doctor, played by Jack Westmore (Edward Kerr). Over lunch, the two actors hit it off, and Anne listens to Jack's proposal of a "no strings" relationship, agreeing to a date because he's "the opposite of what I want." In truth, Jack is taken aback by a woman who acts "like a man." Taking a conceptual cue from the late Dennis Potter, the story intercuts the duo in soap-opera scenes, blending fantasy and reality. Shown at the 1998 Santa Barbara Film Festival. ~ Bhob Stewart, Rovi
