A former farm girl from Wisconsin and the former prince of Denmark find themselves reluctantly thrust back into the spotlight after setting off for their romantic honeymoon in Belavia and realizing the captivating forest that brings them both so much joy is about to be cut down in order to make way for an oil field. Paige was just a regular girl from Wisconsin before she fell in love with Edvard, the prince of Denmark. Now Queen Paige and King Edvard are starting a new life together, and in order to celebrate they've traveled to Belavia to explore ancient castles and marvel at the snowcapped mountain landscape. But their own prime minister is currently drawing up plans to transform this enchanting landscape into an industrialized wasteland in order to turn a profit. Meanwhile, just as Paige and Edvard are exploring their options for preserving Belavia's beauty, an old flame from Queen Paige's past turns up threatening to reveal some rather unsavory secrets from her past. The Prince and Me 2: The Royal Wedding continues the story of 2003's fantasy romance The Prince and Me. In the earlier film, Paige (Julia Stiles) - a midwestern college co-ed - falls in love with Edvard (Luke Mably), sans realizing that he is actually the Prince of Denmark. In this sequel, Paige (now played by neophyte Kam Heskin) and Eddie must confront a centuries-old Danish edict declaring that if a Danish prince marries a commoner, he must abdicate his throne. Paige (Rose McGowan) is transported back to 1969, at the height of the "flower power" era. Here she finds that the younger version of Penny "Grams" Halliwell (Jennifer Rhodes) is an oh-wow hippie (Kara Zediker) who hopes to use the power of love to expunge the world of evil -- and hang the consequences! Meanwhile, back in the present, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and Piper (Holly Marie Combs), their powers diminished by Paige's absence, must face the challenge of a magic-devouring slime beast. Directed by former CIA officer Michael Sellers, Vlad chronicles the far-reaching consequences of a professor's (Child's Play veteran Brad Dourif) request that his students visit the tomb of the infamous Vlad Drakul (aka Vlad the Impaler). Known as one of the cruelest figures in world history, Drakul's reputation for dismembering his victims ultimately led to the belief that he himself may have been a vampire -- he was, in fact, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula. With this in mind, four foreign-exchange students, along with their Romanian tour guide (Billy Zane), venture into the bowels of Drakul's final resting place. When the students come into contact with a legendary necklace, they realize that its rumored ability to traverse throughout time and space is no myth. The Host (Andy Hallett) narrates this episode of Angel, which was written and directed by series co-creator Joss Whedon and is structured as one long flashback recounted by the green-skinned demon to an unseen audience. Lorne's tale involves a memory spell he obtained in order to restore the amnesiac Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter) to her rightful self. Performing the ritual with her friends, Cordy does indeed remember who she is -- or at least who she was. Reverting to her snotty, teenaged Sunnydale High self, Cordy finds herself in the company of strangers: Angel (David Boreanaz), who thinks he's an 18th century Irish human; Wesley (Alexis Denisof), who has reverted to his Watcher's Academy schoolboy self; Fred (Amy Acker), who has become a pot-smoking Texas teen; and Gunn (J. August Richards), who is once again a surly young warrior of the L.A. streets. Eventually, after being appraised of the existence of demons by Gunn and Wesley, these inner children incorrectly surmise that they've been locked up together with a vampire in their midst as part of a test by the Watcher's Council (see Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "Helpless"). A comic murder-mystery ensues, but the danger turns real when Angel realizes that he really is a vampire and goes after Cordy. Connor (Vincent Kartheiser), however, comes to her rescue, and between blows, gets the chance to complain with the like-minded Angel about what a pain in the butt fathers can be. Eventually, everyone's true persona is restored -- including Cordy's. But after a momentary vision of the coming apocalypse, she tells Angel that she can't be with him right now. Reluctantly, though, she reveals that before recent events, she really was in love with him. This suspense film features Dennis Hopper as JD, a crazed kidnapper who hijacks a school bus (not unlike his crazed kidnapper in Speed) and holds the students hostage (one of the students is played by former Home Improvement star Zachery Ty Bryan). Even if the hostages are able to break free from their captors, they would have to survive the harsh terrain that surrounds the cabin in which they are being held. Lee Stanley's film was sold directly to Blockbuster Video, never gaining a theatrical release in the United States. ~ Perry Seibert, All Movie Guide
