While on the way, he is ambushed and all of his money is stolen. One of Our Spies is Missing was cobbled together from a two-part episode of the American TV series Man From UNCLE, then shipped overseas as a feature film. Robert Vaughn and David McCallum head the cast as Napoleon Solo and Ilya Kuryakin, U.N.C.L.E's top agents. The original two-parter, "The Bridge of Lions Affair" (telecast February 4 and 11, 1966), concerns a biochemist who develops a rejuvenation process. The chemist disappears, so it's up to Solo and Kuryakin to recover or destroy the process before it falls into the hands of the enemy spy organization THRUSH. Padding out the proceedings in One of Our Spies is Missing is a newly-filmed subplot concerning the niece (Yvonne Craig) of U.N.C.L.E. head honcho Alexander Waverly (Leo G. A weird little low-budget item featuring Lon Chaney, Jr. and John Carradine as the DeSarde brothers, a pair of sorcerers with opposing powers. The evil brother (Chaney) sports devil's horns and torments the captive guests at the DeSarde mansion, while the invalid benevolent brother (Carradine) languishes in his sickbed. This lackluster production is hampered by a weak story overstuffed with metaphysical mumbo-jumbo and spiced up with belly-dancers and cut-price werewolves, and it keeps its dueling warlocks (who look decidedly bored with the entire ordeal) from sharing any scenes together. Lunar astronauts explore strange ice caves on the moon and end up becoming hosts for a bizarre, deadly parasitic fungus. Unaware of their contamination, the explorers return to their space station. One of them dies and a biochemist investigates. The ship's physician is the next to suffer. He and the surviving astronaut attempt to convince the ship's captain to radio in a warning to Earth, but the commander refuses. The two then try to contact Earth on their own, but the communication officer, who loves the captain, stops them, leaving the twosome to figure out another way to save their planet from catastrophe. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

An emotionally scarred man is thrown into the heat of battle in this low-budget war drama set during World War II. Gil (Frank Leo) and Johnny (Carl Crow) are childhood friends who were raised together in an orphanage and have been as close as brothers ever since. Gil arranges to be sent to Italy to serve in the same outfit as Johnny, but while the two are happy to see one another, Gil can see that the rigors of battle have taken a toll on his buddy. Sgt. Rance (Beach Dickerson) is convinced Johnny is a coward who's faking his anxieties so he'll be shipped out of the danger zone. When Johnny snaps into a near catatonic state during a skirmish, Rance is still certain he's pulling a fast one no matter what the medical staff says, and after Johnny is confined to his tent for rest, Rance sends him back out against orders and his buddies are forced to go behind enemy lines to find him. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

Kolos (Richard Kiel) is a space alien sent to Earth in this low-budget science fiction story. His mission is to make duplicates of the world leaders in an effort to take over the world. Government agents Glenn Martin (George Nader) and Gale Wilson (Barbara Nichols) are called on to stop the scheming alien. Watch for Hugh Beaumont (best known as Ward Cleaver in the television series Leave It To Beaver) in his last screen role. This grim drama is set in the Mesa Vineyards of California and chronicles the horrible conditions suffered by migrant workers who are treated as slaves by a cruel vineyard supervisor. He is particularly brutal with the females whom he repeatedly rapes and batters. The foreman goes over the edge when he tries to beat the vintner to death so he can commandeer the ranch. In this off-beat sci-fi adventure an astronaut must make a forced landing upon a remote asteroid. His ship is damaged and he must breathe the planet's atmosphere. Soon he begins shrinking and once he gets down to six inches discovers the place populated by diminutive people who have turned the flying rock into a ship. He soon joins forces with the little people to defeat the monstrous solarites, terrifying creatures out to eat them. The leader of the wee-folk is Francis X.
