Redman Movies
Born Reggie Noble in Newark, NJ, on April 17, 1970, Redman started as a professional rap artist in the early '90s, and has since rounded off his lime-lit career with numerous appearances in film and on television. He has often been found paired with fellow rapper Method Man, both musically and comically, and collaborated with major artists on the fronts of both film and rap for several years. Redman's long-lasting fame as a seldom rap star with an actual lengthy career (he made recordings for over a decade) helped establish his stage and screen personality as well.As well as making many appearances as himself, for instance hosting the TV series Stung, Redman has also earned roles as an accredited actor. His first film appearance came in 1997 with Rhyme & Reason, and one year later he followed up with a small part in the road trip comedy Ride. In 1999, he played Trevor in the film Colorz of Rage, and also starred with multi-medial collaborator Method Man in P.I.G.S., a comedy in which they both portrayed pan-handling nuns.
Shifting from the comedic realm, Redman had a small role in the Val Lik drama about loyalties entitled Boricua's Band in 2000, and played Limpin' Lenny the made-for-TV action film Statistic: The Movie (2001). He realigned with both his comic side and Method Man in the absurd comedy about "preparing" for a college entrance exam, in How High (2001), also featuring Dean Cain. He came on as host for the television series Stung in 2002, and appeared in a rappers' documentary called Sweet Dreams -- also starring Sean Puffy Combs, Method Man, Kid Rock, and others -- that same year.
Not only has his acting ability and comedic style earned him film credits, but also his sounds have been accredited on several motion pictures as well. His lasting rap career landed him song spots on several major film soundtracks including Save the Last Dance, Rush Hour 2, How High, and All About the Benjamins. ~ Sarah Sloboda, Rovi

When the notoriously evil Chucky doll and his lover gave birth, they had no idea that their spawn would grow up to be a peace-loving kind of guy; however, that's exactly what Glen turns out to be: a gentle soul who is horrified at what he has been told about his family. After hearing the news of a film being made about his parents' murderous legacy, Glen sets off for Hollywood, where he promptly brings Chucky and Tiffany back to life. Far from diving into doting fatherhood, Chucky is seriously disappointed in his son's lack of inherent evil and tries his best to impart his vast knowledge of all things malevolent before Glen becomes some sort of do-gooder. Elsewhere, Tiffany finds that she will be played by Jennifer Tilly in their movie and doesn't hesitate to let her son in on their family's most cherished tradition -- killing sprees. Directed by Don Mancini, Seed of Chucky features Brad Dourif returning as the voice of Chucky, while Tilly plays both herself and Tiffany. Cribs was a series on MTV that took viewers inside the houses of some of the biggest music stars of the day. This release showcases hip-hop performers who appeared on the show. While star Anna Faris returns for the third film in the Scary Movie series, the power behind the camera has shifted from the Wayans brothers to one of the Zucker brothers. The Zucker in question is David Zucker, and he's brought along his partner in movie-parody crime, Leslie Nielsen. This time around, aim is taken at such horror blockbusters as Signs and The Ring, while films of other genres, including Independence Day, 8 Mile, and The Matrix, are also lampooned. The plot finds Cindy (Faris) trying to help the president (Nielsen) thwart an alien attack while also facing crop circles and a mysterious video tape. A pair of real-life multi-platinum rap artists star in this genial substance abuse comedy recalling the pro-marijuana work of Cheech and Chong and such films as Half Baked (1998). They end up in the possession of some magical weed that enhances their brainpower during college entrance exams, thus enabling them to enter that esteemed institution of learning, Harvard University. Once firmly ensconced in the halls of academia, however, the pals run out of their supernatural supply and are forced to get creative in the pursuit of an Ivy League degree. In 1999, Jay-Z, who also runs the hip-hop oriented Rock-A-Fella Records label, launched a major concert tour, in which he joined forces with fellow rappers Method Man, DMX, and Redman for a road trip that packed halls at 54 shows in two months, earning $18 million at the turnstiles. This documentary takes a close look at the music Jay-Z and his friends created onstage, as well as their adventures -- both positive and negative -- as they take one of rap's biggest shows on the road. A mixed-race couple confront prejudice on both sides of the color line, as well as the uphill battle of making it in the big city, in this independent urban drama. Debbie (Nicki Richards) and Tony (Dale Resteghini) are a couple in their early twenties who met while living in a suburb outside Boston. Debbie is African-American and Tony is white, but both believe that race doesn't have to be an issue if two people love and respect one another. But when Debbie and Tony move to New York City to pursue their careers -- Debbie wants to be a singer and Tony is a struggling actor -- they discover not everyone embraces their happiness with open arms. Debbie's family doesn't approve of her relationship with Tony, while Tony becomes the target of a radical Black Nationalist group who believe inter-racial relationships are a slap in the face to African-American culture. Money soon becomes short for the couple and an attempt to make some easy cash goes wrong, with Tony landing in jail. As Tony struggles to win his freedom, Debbie meets a good looking black man from the neighborhood and finds herself wondering if her relationship with Tony is worth all the trouble.
