Mathijs Geijskes' six-minute short Stop! comments on the ease with which modern filmmakers have blurred the line between reality and fiction. The film begins with a scene of a video store being raided and people in the place being killed as a result. The film then goes down the rabbit hole as a series of scenes play out that turn out to be either scripted segments of reality shows or actual reality. ~ Perry Seibert, All Movie Guide

In this Dutch comedy, a group of friends (they are all in their 20s) struggle with the notions of romance, friendship and sex. Mild-mannered, slightly awkward Dimitri is madly in love with Esther. Unfortunately, nice guys like Dimitri only inspire sisterly feelings in Esther. She is much more attracted to mysterious, dangerous men, the kind who will surely treat her roughly. Poor love-struck Dimitri goes to his buddy Maarten for advice; he tells him that the secret to winning Esther is to stop acting like a bridesmaid and become a bastard instead. To this end, gentle Dimitri begins to affect every macho posture in the book and fails miserably. Meanwhile, real macho bastard Gino finds his he-man ways a total washout with Susan. Fortunately, by the story's end, at least one couple has a happy ending. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
