In this standard, stereotypical, youth-oriented film, Mona (Claudia Demarmels) has just received the awful news that she has to move out of her apartment because her landlady plans on turning it over to her son -- and so the impossible quest for an affordable place begins. As Mona goes from door to door looking for her ideal new home, she encounters one adventure after another -- and unconsciously or not, seems headed toward a knight in shining armor and another good apartment all in one package. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

21 Hours at Munich is a grim reenactment of the darkest days of the 1972 Munich Olympics. A gang of eight Arab terrorists storm the Israeli dormitory, killing two and taking hostage nine athletes. The terrorist's demands include the release of 200 Arabs held in Israeli jails; Israel follows its standard policy in dealing with terrorism and refuses to capitulate. There can be only one way that this film will end, but the tragedy of the occasion is buoyed by isolated moments of inspirational heroism. William Holden and Franco Nero head the cast, while sportscaster Jim McKay, whose emotional coverage of the actual events has since become famous, narrates the film. 21 Hours at Munich first aired on November 7, 1976. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
A German bisexual male suffers the indignities of prejudice in a small town. After taking up with the town floozie -- who tries to trap him into marriage and claims he has impregnated her -- the people of the town turn from teasing to cruelty, and the young man decides to leave. When he gives a local boy a ride on his bicycle, the act of kindness is misconstrued to be a sexual advance. The boy's mother is livid and fears her mentally challenged son may have been molested. The floozie continues to pressure the young man into marrying her, until the weight of it all becomes too much; he snaps and kills her. Soon the entire town conspires to hunt down the young man like an animal in this disturbing story of prejudice and intolerance. ~ Dan Pavlides, All Movie Guide
