A woman looking for love is willing to go to unexpected lengths to find it in this comedy-drama. Molly (Mairead McKinley) is a woman from Ireland who has been having relationship problems, and one lonely night she has a one-night-stand with Marcin (Jan Wieczorkowski), a Polish tourist who tells her he works in a coal mine back home. Several months later, Molly begins to see Marcin as an opportunity that slipped through her fingers, so she catches a flight to Poland in order to find him. While Molly is able to find the small town where he lives, she discovers tracking down Marcin himself is more of a challenge, especially since most of the town's coal mines have been closed down for years and Molly can't speak a single word of Polish. Eventually, Molly and Marcin are reunited, but he's more than a bit surprised to see her and she wonders if he's really the man of her dreams in the cold light of the Polish day. Molly's Way was the first feature film from director Emily Atef. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

Numbering among the deceased composer's friends are John (Ed Vassallo) and Zoe (Sarah Winkler), novelists who have been married for seven years; John's friend Jonas (Charles Tuthill), a musician and conductor; Cedric (Gordon Elliott), a British museum curator; and Cedric's very young girlfriend Karen (Kat Gang), a painter. Also in the picture are Fame (Bridget Moynahan) and Fortune (Vivienne Benesch), who promise to give Ralph's work the recognition it deserves. A romantic comedy with a few surreal/absurdist twists, the story centers on recent medical school drop-out David who is first seen aimlessly traipsing about Manhattan musing about the rest of his life when he runs into a strange woman who introduces herself as Nancy and asks if he would interested in spending the next couple of years helping her to produce and direct a small film. Another strange woman then appears and makes an equally odd request as does another and another. David chooses to work with Nancy and so goes to her place to begin writing the script. Suddenly, her strange Uncle Andre shows up in a panic. It seems he somehow acquired an enormous herd of cattle and must quickly get rid of them. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
