Monk (Tony Shalhoub) becomes a social pariah when he is forced to shoot down a man dressed as a Santa Claus suit. Though he insists he acted in self defense, Monk is unable to convince the public that he was merely getting even with "Santa" for tying up traffic and making him late for an apartment. The flames of hostility against Monk are fueled by local reporter Brandy Barber (Gina Philips), who hopes to parlay this bizarre story into a national assignment. In his efforts to clear his name, Monk unearths a conspiracy to steal a priceless diamond--and places himself in the unenviable position of drawing his weapon against Santa for a second time. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

The three performers (one Italian, one Frenchman and one German) in a ramshackle and miniscule traveling circus are traveling through rural Italy looking for an audience when they encounter Father Gregorio who asks them to portray the three wise men in his village Christmas pageant. This comedy chronicles the many misadventures that ensue when they take the job. First they must deal with irate union actors, then with the women's chorus with whom they dallied, but their biggest problem comes when they must find an infant to play the baby Jesus. For some reason, everyone in town is childless and so the three hit the road in search of their Christ child. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
Attending a "make-out" party, Cory (Ben Savage) can't work up the nerve to kiss Topanga (Danielle Fishel), whereupon he vows never to go out on a date again. After finding out that older brother Eric (Will Friedle) is at the center of Cory's panic attack--Eric had pressured him to "go the distance" when he had the chance--Alan (William Russ) and Amy (Betsy Randle) advise the boy to take Topanga to a place where the pressure to perform is off and no kissing is required. Thus, Cory escorts Topanga to what he thinks is a "safe" social gathering...where everyone ends up making out anyway. "Agooblah!" ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
Psychiatrist Caruso (Francesco Nuti) is arguably as nutty as his patients. He can remember at two years old being completely besotted by the charms of a naked girl. Even today, he can think of little else besides sex, sex, sex. The person he thinks about most is his wife Giulia (Clarissa Burt), who was the girl he saw when he was two. Fortunately for him, she is equally obsessed, and by the same thing. Unluckily, she has taken a fancy to one of Caruso's patients (Ricky Tognazzi). Luckily, he has been diagnosed as a latent homosexual. Unluckily, Giulia's persuasive powers are equal to the challenge. Good luck and bad alternate in this way for the rest of the film, a box-office success in its native Italy. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide
