Neophyte writer-director Rafael Riera helms the rollicking direct-to-video comedy Bunny Whipped. Traveling in the footsteps of Blankman and Hero at Large , Riera brings us yet another masked crusader sans any superhuman powers. By day, he's Bob Whipple (Esteban Powell), sportscaster extraordinaire stuck in a dead-end existence; by moonlight, he's The Whip (also Powell), a generally helpless superhero nonetheless determined to bring the men to justice who rubbed out a white rap star. Bob's adventures soon bring him into close proximity with his high school flame, Anne (Chasing Amy's Joey-Lauren Adams) who tries to recruit him to help her save a bunch of endangered rabbits. He agrees, but - horror of horrors! - must face down the chief suspect in the rap star's murder when that shady character decides to kidnap Anne. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide

The Cleaners, whose job it is to erase all evidence of mortal contact with witches, try to cover up videotaped proof of Phoebe's (Alyssa Milano) and Paige's (Rose McGowan) witchcraft by framing Inspector Daryl Morris (Dorian Gregory) for murder. When the Charmed Ones try to help Daryl, they end up on trial for their lives themselves. Despite the friction between them, Leo (Brian Krause) and Chris (Drew Fuller) join forces to save Daryl and the girls. The saga of pop metal superstars Def Leppard is told in this biopic, produced by cable television music channel VH1. The film traces the band's history from their origins as a teenage hard rock act in the English industrial town of Sheffield to the massive success they enjoyed worldwide as multi-platinum recording artists. Def Leppard's rise to the top is depicted as driven by rabidly dedicated lead singer Joe Elliott (Orlando Seale), though along with the money, supermodels and parties there are tragedies as well. Original guitarist Pete Willis (Nick Bagnall) is sacked when excessive drink affects his performance, drummer Rick Allen (Tat Whalley) loses an arm in a car accident and must endure grueling effort to learn how to play again, and lead guitarist Steve Clark (Karl Geary) struggles with alcoholism as he bounces in and out of rehab centers. Through all the tribulations and excess, however, the band sticks together like brothers and fights to keep rocking as a unit. ~ Fred Beldin, All Movie Guide

Christopher Coppola directs this droll re-working both of Sunset Boulevard (1950) and Paul Morrissey's Heat (1972). Washed up child actor and pizza delivery guy Curson Beeley (Marc Coppola) is taken in by retired TV executive Agnes Fuchs (Barbara Bain). In her estate, Beeley lives a pampered life of luxury while Fuchs quietly tries to resurrect his career. As his television comeback seems more and more likely to happen, Beeley's life becomes complicated on other fronts -- his ex-girlfriend continues to harass him, Fuchs becomes increasingly demanding in bed, and he is plagued by a bizarre outbreak of boils. ~ Jonathan Crow, All Movie Guide

Evidently inspired by Saving Private Ryan, this episode takes place in July of 1944, in the closing stages of WW2. A group of soldiers, led by Sgt. Walker (Matthew Glave), make a pact that if one of them survives the war, that person will deliver letters of hope to the others' loved ones. Monica (Roma Downey) is assigned to watch over this "special" platoon, which includes ultra-cynical Pvt. Faraday (Christian Leffler), and the eternally optimistic Pvt. Rourke (Andrew Kavovit). What follows is a maelstrom of terror, courage, cowardice, stupidity and nobility--but the payoff does not occur until 50 years later, during a poignant visit to a London pet shop. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Two women have a sudden and unexpected revelation about their sexuality -- and each other -- in this bittersweet comedy-drama. Dinah (Connie Nelson) is a math teacher and girl's basketball coach at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, a public school in a straight-laced Texas community. Dinah is in her early 40s and has settled comfortably, if grudgingly, into single life, while Carly (Dee Hennigan), who works as a secretary at the school, is about the same age and stuck in an unsatisfying relationship with Ron (Gary Carter), who is also on the school's staff as an algebra instructor. Dinah and Carly have known each other casually for some time and never gave each other much thought, until one day, when Carly hears a rumor that Dinah is having an affair with Ron. Carly confronts Dinah after basketball practice, and Dinah assures her that there's no truth to the gossip and then offers to teach her the fine points of the game. The two women sense something is in the air, and when they impulsively kiss, it finally dawns on them that they're attracted to each other. Before long, Carly decides to leave Ron, and she and Dinah go public with their romance. The reaction, however, is anything but charitable; both women become the subject of a wave of gossip and mean-spirited jokes, and after a highly contentious PTA meeting, they loose their jobs (which is bad news for the principle, since Dinah's team was on a winning streak). While Carly's young son is puzzled but accepting of his mother's decision, her teenage daughter Val (Lisa Peterson), still coming to terms with her feelings about boys, is confused and alienated by her mother's new lifestyle, and all the more upset when her boyfriend Jamie (Esteban Powell) breaks up with her in the wake of the flap over Carly's decision. Dinah, meanwhile, has to deal with the unwelcome attentions of male members of the faculty who want to "convert" her back to heterosexuality. Kim Delaney stars as a woman on the rebound in this made-for-television movie. Delaney stars as Maggie, a woman who just broke up with her boyfriend. She gets involved with a handsome stranger named Roy (Jack Scalia), knowing little about his past.
