The fact that redheaded stunner Angie Everhart, who set the pages of Sports Illustrated on fire in addition to numerous revealing print and film appearances, was commonly mistaken for a boy in her youth may come as more than a shock to some given that her name became synonymous with sex appeal in the mid-'90s.Born to an engineer father and a homemaker mother in Akron, OH, in September of 1969, Everhart was the middle child of three siblings, graduating from Harvey S. Firestone High School (where she took on the role of the school's mascot) in 1987. Following a playful photo session with her mother and the subsequent submission of the results to a local modeling agency, Everhart was on a plane to Paris later that same year. By the end of the following year, the burgeoning model had graced the covers of such fashion mainstays as Elle and Glamour (for which she was the first-ever red-haired cover girl). Though a horseback riding accident in which she broke her back nearly put an end to her catwalk aspirations, the determined model was soon on her feet again against all odds. Making her film debut in 1993 with the Arnold Schwarzenegger action-comedy The Last Action Hero, Everhart has since appeared in such features as Tales From the Crypt Presents: Bordello of Blood (1996), Denial (1998), Camera, and Gunblast Vodka (both 2000). An avid skydiver and a master of the art of airplane dog smuggling (she likes to keep her Maltese nearby on long flights), the beautiful actress/model was briefly engaged to Sylvester Stallone in 1995, married to Ashley Hamilton from late 1996 until early 1997, and has been rumored to be involved with Prince Albert of Monaco. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

ABC's Ex-Wives Club was a weekly reality series about the aftereffects of nasty divorces, hosted by a trio of well-known celebrity "ex-es": Marla Maples, former wife of Donald Trump; Shar Jackson, onetime partner of "Mr. Brittany Spears" Kevin Federline; and Angie Everhart, who had long since shed her husband Ashley Hamilton. With the help and advice of author/life coach Debbie Ford, the three ladies conferred each week with one man and one woman, each of whom had recently undergone a traumatic domestic breakup. To help them make the transition, the hosts showed their fellow "ex-es" how to cope with financial problems, re-invent themselves with physical and wardrobe makeovers, and even harmlessly concoct elaborate "revenge fantasies." As the wife of fading Hollywood producer Kit Freers (Andrew McCarthy), children's book illustrator Holly Freers (Justine Bateman) would love to have some of the fame and fortune of her movie star neighbors rub off on her just once in a while. Whereas she is deeply devoted to her daughter Chloe (Holliston Coleman), most of the wives in Holly's neighborhood regard their children as mere ornaments, treating motherhood more as a passing fad than as a blessing. This is especially true of Julia Prentice (Angie Everhart), the trophy wife of a popular sitcom star, who is gearing up to stage the baptism of her baby as a major media event. Nor is this the only reason that Holly resents Julia; it seems that the woman had once been Kit's lover. Thus, when Julia's corpse is found floating in the Freers' swimming pool, the police have two ready-made suspects -- and Holly suddenly becomes a celebrity, just like she always wanted...though she certainly didn't want it like this! Celebrity Mole: Yucatan is the official title of The Mole's fourth season on ABC. As in the previous season's Celebrity Mole: Hawaii, a group of high-profile sports and showbiz personalities (eight players, increased from seven) compete in a variety of grueling and sometime hilarious physical and mental challenges, bearing such designations as "El Taxi Loco," "Salespeople," "Moon Over Yucatan," and "Clucks for Bucks" -- this time playing out the contest in the Yucatan Peninsula rather than the Hawaiian Isles. And as before, one of the eight players is the "mole," planted by the producers to insidiously sabotage and undermine the efforts of the other contestants, through such means as bribery, backstabbing, and downright cheating. In order to win the game, one of two finalists must determine the identity of the "mole" -- and this year every one of the celebrities fits the profile of the perpetrator. Perhaps inspired by the finale of the 1954 horror film Them!, the made-for-cable chiller Bugs explores the consequences stemming from a swarm of giant insects gathering in a major metropolitan subway systems. These bugs not only eat human beings, but tear their bodies apart and leave the fragments scattered to and fro. It is up to entomologist Emily Foster (Angie Everhart) and civil engineer Matt Pollock (Antonio Sabato, Jr.) to save humanity from the oversized scourges. Team for short -- which consists of Kim Taylor (Angie Everhart), Eva Kirov (Eva Halina), and Victoria Carrera (Traci Bingham), three highly skilled secret agents posing as international supermodels. While mingling with the upper crust between photo shoots, the D.R.E.A.M. Team meet a business mogul whose plans for his U.S. operations may be less than benign. D.R.E.A.M. Team was the pilot film for a short-lived television show; Martin Sheen did not appear in the series, but Roger Moore stepped in to play a similar role. One of several government-espionage series unveiled during the 2001-2002 TV season, UC: Undercover detailed the exploits of the Special Operations Group, an elite five-person team answerable only to the Justice Department. Using up-to-date technology and advanced martial arts skills, the Group was dedicated to tracking down and capturing supercriminals and terrorists (though several episodes dealing with the latter were toned down in the wake of the World Trade Center tragedy). Described by several observers as the Wiseguy of the early 21st century, the series found its regulars adopting all manner of disguises and new identities in order to infiltrate the illicit organizations which they'd targeted for extinction. Originally cast as group leader John Keller, Grant Show was replaced in the second episode by new leader Frank Donovan (Oded Fehr); other regulars included Jon Seda as Jake, Vera Farmiga as Alex, Bruklin Harris as Monica, and Jarrad Paul as Cody. Spinella is determined to prove that Gale's actions were hardly "involuntary," and that the man is a dangerous sexual predator. An undercover commando poses as a teacher to root out the neo-Nazis at a military academy in this fourth installment of the tough-love educational/action saga. At the behest of a friend, commando Karl Thomasson (Treat Williams) heads to an Atlanta academy so he can root out the racist skinheads who are running amok. As it turns out, the little white supremacists are working at the behest of the school's uber-racist headmaster, Brack (Patrick Kilpatrick). Thomasson finds an ally, or at least a bedmate, in the person of Jenny (Angie Everhart), the school's medical officer. Meanwhile, he bullies the skinheads, rallies the other students, and uncovers a plot to blow up a minority-built nuclear power plant. Although this is the fourth episode in the series, it's only the third outing for Williams, who took over from Tom Berenger in the second installment. Film director Adam Rifkin spoofs Hollywood's star machine in concocting this fictional "mockumentary" about a director (Rifkin playing himself) who wants to make a documentary film about a rising young star. Anton Markwell (Tony Markes, who co-directed the film) is the object of Rifkin's inquiring camera. Rifkin, fancying himself a star-maker, advises Markwell to change his name to Nick Decker. Decker is actually the second choice for the project. Rifkin originally selects David Lake (David Andriole), but Lake signs a film contract and his studio won't cooperate with Rifkin's documentary. Rifkin has no better luck with Decker, until his protégé lands a guest role on the popular television series Baywatch. But while filming on the set, Decker steps on a sting ray and ends up in the hospital, ending his chance for quick notoriety.
