Taylor MacLennan (Matt Nolan) has returned to the United States after spending two-and-a-half years overseas, and despite having long-standing issues with his family, he pays them a visit at the request of his mother. It seems Mother has been trying to gather as much of the family as possible because Father (Peter Mehren) has been sick. Taylor still holds a grudge against his brother Robert (Dylan Neal) for stealing (and marrying) his high school sweetheart Christine (Val Barri), nor has he entirely gotten over his infatuation with another of his former girlfriends (Marisa Ryan) who still lives in town, even though his current flame Pamela (Tami-Adrian George) has tagged along.
