The fourth entry in the Iron Eagle series follows the return of General Charles "Chappy" Sinclair (Louis Gosset Jr., who deserves better) as he trains a Dirty Dozen-style team of juvenile delinquents to improve their quality of life by flying planes and combatting evil. This time the Air Force itself is the enemy, as the intrepid teens uncover a conspiracy involving biological weaponry. When Chappy contacts his old friend, General Kettle (Al Waxman), he learns the General is in on the action. Along the way, the group manages to combat some ill-prepared drug dealers as well. This installment is better than the second or third, but that's not the highest of praise; Iron Eagle IV is a dumb-dumb fantasy for fourteen-year-old boys who don't yet have their learner's permits, much less their pilot's licenses. ~ Jeremy Beday, All Movie Guide

The normally docile Diefenbaker is impounded after biting an animal control officer. Can it be that the hard-of-healing wolf is reverting to the wild? Accompanied by his trusty pet wolf Diefenbaker, RCMP constable Benton Fraser doggedly pursues the murderer of his Mountie father (whose death has been officially deemed an "accident") from the snowy environs of the Yukon to the urban sprawl of Chicago. Once in the Windy City, Fraser meets wisecracking local police detective Ray Vecchio, whose career has likewise been motivated by the death of his father. Forming a tentative friendship, Fraser and Ray become an unofficial team, determined to track down miscreants by combining their separate but equally effective police methods. Along the way, our heroes discover that Fraser's father was killed while investigating a large-scale coverup involving a hydroelectric dam project. The subject of this film may be highly disturbing to some viewers. This dark, Canadian film, based on the award winning Toronto play, graphically chronicles the last days and doctor-assisted suicide of Chris, a fictional dancer and choreographer with AIDS. This picture was shot in real time and focuses upon the last meal Chris shares with his lover, Val before the doctor administers a lethal injection. In this action-packed martial arts outing, a crazed criminal (Andrew Dice Clay) abducts the finalists and the hostess (Shannon Tweed) from the Miss Galaxy Beauty Contest in hopes of receiving a huge fortune in diamonds. During the abduction, the crook and his gang ruthlessly massacre a dozen innocent bystanders. Unfortunately for the crook, he doesn't realize that the glamorous hostess is a world kickboxing champion.
