Video Vixens purports to be a satire of the phony liberalism that resulted in the permissiveness of the 1980s. A libidinous TV executive decides to stage an awards show. But not just any awards show: this one will honor the finest achievements in the world of filmed pornography. Thus does satire take second place to acres and acres of female skin and 85 minutes' worth of soft-core titillation. Robyn Hilton and Sandy Dempsey are among the au naturel cuties in this ham-handed "comedy." ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

This effort from exploitation auteur Jack Hill was a profitable early entry in one of the most beloved subgenres of sexploitation cinema, the cheerleader movie. The soap opera-styled premise focuses on the lives of a squad of cheerleaders at Mesa University. Mary Ann (Colleen Camp) is worried with trying to get her roving football player boyfriend, Buck, to settle down and marry her; Lisa (Rosanne Katon) is caught up an in an affair with the married Professor Torpe (Jason Sommers); and Andrea (Rainbeaux Smith) frets over whether or not to give her virginity up. There is also a new cheerleader named Kate (Jo Johnston), who is actually a journalism student using the experience to write a feminist-slanted paper for her thesis. Kate soon learns that the cheerleaders and football players deserve more respect than she gives them and also uncovers a secret gambling ring involving the coach, Professor Torpe, and Mary Ann's father. The narrative that results from these surprisingly involved plot threads delivers all the raciness the title promises, and, thanks to the gambling subplot, even a bit of action. The Swinging Cheerleaders is less inspired and kinetic than Hill's other exploitation fare, but it delivers the sexploitation goods and manages to work in a little subversive social commentary to boot. As a result, it became a drive-in hit and earned a cult following amongst fans of drive-in movies. ~ Donald Guarisco, All Movie Guide

The blue movie hits the big screen in this 70 mm softcore adults-only comedy, hosted by executive producer Richard S. Ellman, who welcomes viewers to "the world's mightiest adult film." After a sepia-toned tour through the history of pornography onscreen (featuring such titles as Sailor Beware and The Vacuum Cleaner Salesman), the picture bursts into bold color and full Panoramic view as an attractive young couple makes love on a majestic mountain range. From there the pudgy, moustached Ellman presents the viewer with an assortment of humorous sexual situations, all designed to exploit the erotic possibilities of Panoramic vision, including: sex on a rollercoaster, a typical Hollywood orgy complete with string quartet, the hot fantasies of a centerfold girl, a symphony orchestra performing "The Intercourso in F Minor" and many ribald sight gags. Featured performers include such adult film superstars as Rene Bond, John Holmes, Uschi Digart, and Sandy Dempsey. ~ Fred Beldin, All Movie Guide
Director Douglas Heyes once told an interviewer to "forget all about" Heyes' Kitten with a Whip (1964). Evidently Chris Warfield had no intention of following this advice, if indeed any advice was solicited. Warfield's Little Miss Innocence is Kitten with a Whip all over again, minus the star power of Ann-Margret and with plenty of gratuitous sex, violence and nudity. Record executive John Alderman picks up a couple of nubile female hitchhikers. He tries-and fails-to resist their charms, leading to plenty of raw (and most embarrassing) consequences. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
Cliff Robertson wrote, produced, directed and acted the lead in this film about a rodeo performer. The rodeo footage in this film was shot at actual rodeo competitions. Rodeo rider J.W. Coop (Robertson) has just spent ten years in jail for passing bad checks. He comes out and discovers that everything except his crazy mother (Geraldine Page) has changed. Riders don't compete in all-around events anymore, but fly all over the country in private planes to compete in the same event in several rodeos a day. Furthermore, the sexual liberation movement has changed the way women relate to men. He is nonplused to discover a hippyish woman (Cristina Ferrare) who wants a no-strings relationship with him. The idea of health food catches him by surprise, too. Coop wants and needs to win a national rodeo championship, despite all the new challenges he faces. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide
