The dinosaurs are back, and they're getting hungrier by the minute in this sequel to the terror tale Carnosaur. There's been a call for help from a secret underground military facility deep in the Nevada desert, so a rescue team led by Maj. McQuade (Cliff De Young) and trouble-shooter Reed (John Savage) is sent out to investigate. When they arrive, the facility's staff are all dead -- the only living person they can find is a lost, disoriented teenager named Jesse (Ryan Thomas Johnson) who is wandering through the flats. As they investigate, McQuade and Reed make two terrifying discoveries. A cache of high-grade plutonium has been stored there, but the containment is faulty, and a cloud of deadly radiation is slowly but surely being released. To make matters worse, the Army had found a number of dinosaur eggs during a dig and had stashed them at the Nevada facility...and the radiation has caused them to hatch, with a pack of hungry velociraptors patrolling the area as a result. Carnosaur 2 also stars Don Stroud, Rick Dean, and Arabella Holzbog. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

Director Dan Golden's remake of Marcus De Leon's 1992 erotic thriller Kiss Me a Killer stars Maria Ford as the femme fatale who lures a country-western singer into murdering her sadistic bar-owner husband. Executive producer Roger Corman, who also released De Leon's film, made a career of re-using similar storylines with slight alterations and passing them off as new films. This one falls short of its predecessor due mostly to Golden's workmanlike direction and the hackneyed backdrop. Golden's next job for Corman, however, was a surprisingly witty adaptation of Bram Stoker's The Burial of the Rats (1995). ~ Robert Firsching, All Movie Guide

This made-for-TV western stars Kelly Preston as Rebecca Carver, who is travelling west with her husband Matthew (Charles Powell), trying to outrun the draft for the Civil War. Needing to rest for the night, they stop at a trading post run by Barkley (Dan Haggerty), where they encounter a pack of buffalo hunters as well as several Cheyenne braves who seem to know Barkley well. Worried that there could be trouble and afraid of the Indians, Matthew warns the hunters about the Cheyenne, which soon leads to a furious battle leaving only two survivors -- Rebecca and Hawk (Pato Hoffmann), a Cheyenne warrior who was severely injured in the fighting. With no one to protect her, Rebecca realizes that her survival may depend on Hawk, so she nurses him back to health; the two make their way across the prarie as they try to escape the bitter onset of winter, and find that their mutual distrust soon grows into love. Roger Corman served as executive producer. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

In this movie, the position of trust a psychiatrist holds is clearly being bent, if not broken, by a prostitute with the doctor's active encouragement. It seems that he enjoys seeing her have sex with his clients. At home, he has a very, very close relationship with his sister. In fact, it looks like it may be just plain old incest. It's never entirely clear, though. When a police detective begins nosing around in the head-doctor's affairs, it is because he is suspected of something entirely different than either of these offenses: he may be connected with a whole series of child murders. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide

It seems that a small-town bigwig has arranged for the murder of Jerry's grandfather. With the law on the villains' side, Jerry has no recourse but to kick, poke and jab away. There's hardly an original moment in One Man Army, but who goes to these movies for their plots? ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

This 1991erotic thriller revolves around a politician caught in a sexual cover-up that is reminiscent of the real-life 1987 Gary Hart/Donna Rice scandal. After city-council member Franklin Carlyle (William Katt) is mugged and stranded while checking out a redevelopment project in a downscale neighborhood, he is befriended by an alcoholic (Rick Dean) who introduces the politician to a local strip-bar. Carlyle becomes sexually involved with one of the dancers at the club (Maria Ford). This liaison horribly backfires when the woman is discovered murdered the morning after. As councilman Carlyle tries to hide his one-night stand with the slain stripper, the alcoholic begins to assume an increasingly menacing aspect. Interspersed with erotic dream fantasies and strip scenes, the thriller continues onward to its final--and cinematic--climax. This is the first release of director Dan Golden. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

Action hero Don "The Dragon" Wilson appears in this third, quickie sequel to Bloodfist. Wilson plays Jimmy Boland, who has been sentenced to a California maximum-security prison for a murder that he didn't commit. When he sees some black prison inmates sodomizing his friend, he flies into a rage and kills the gang leader. The prison warden, in an effort to do Jimmy in, transfers him to the black wing of the prison, where he is sure the black prisoners will dispatch him quickly. This looks to be a safe bet, since the gang member Jimmy had killed was a drug supplier to Blue, the leader of the black prison gang. Wheelhead, a white inmate and leader of a group of white supremacists, takes Jimmy under his wing and offers Jimmy support if he joins the gang. Jimmy refuses, preferring to stay neutral. Meanwhile, Jimmy warms up to his cellmate Stark (Richard Roundtree), and Stark invites Jimmy to join a multi-racial group of prisoners who tend the rooftop prison garden. Jimmy has managed to maintain his neutrality, but at a price. Now both Blue and Wheelhead want to see him dead. ~ Paul Brenner, All Movie Guide
