This voyeuristic story finds the wealthy philanthropist Sayer (Philippe Leroy) getting his weekend jollies as a sadist. When his usual street-walking female can't make the scene, he employs his willing secretary Mary (Dagmar Lassander) to take her place. After submitting to his demands, she takes over as the aggressive sexual predator, seemingly curing Sayer of his impotence. Mary dominates the rejuvenated Sayer until he has a massive heart attack in this erotically tinged thriller. This marks the directorial debut for Piero Schivazappa. ~ Dan Pavlides, All Movie Guide

He is pressed into service to prevent a gang of international terrorists from taking over the world. In this comical spaghetti western, a companion film to Seven Guns for the MacGregors, two immigrant families move to Texas during the 1800s. The MacGregors hail from Scotland while their neighbors the Donovans come from Ireland. The two families frequently engage in rivalry, but it is all in fun as all six MacGregor boys are engaged to the Donovan girls. The trouble begins during an engagement party for Bailey and Flori. The festivities are interrupted by an outlaw gang which steals the trunk containing all the MacGregor's money. Naturally the boys, including Bailey, take off in hot pursuit. Flori, afraid her beloved may be tempted by the outlaw's wanton women, follows them and ends up taken hostage. Bailey tries to save her but ends up captured also. An attorney and his amorous daughters provide the focus of this drama. The story begins as the lawyer begins searching for his lost teenage daughter and learns that she has run away with an older man. He and his daughter's friend take off after the fugitive lovers. Along the way, the lawyer and the young girl become lovers themselves. Eventually, they discover that she has dumped the older man for a lover her own age; they then find her in bed with said lover and drag her home. The title of this Italian period comedy translates to Bride for a Night. Armando Francioli plays an impoverished 18th-century musician who seeks the patronage of a wealthy, libertine count (Gino Cervi). When the count comes to town on a visit, the musician hits upon a scheme: he will bundle his real wife (Gina Lollobrigida) out of the house, hire a local courtesan (Nadia Gray) to pose as his wife, then allow the count to sleep with his "bride" in exchange for financial support. Inevitably, the plan falls through, with the count ending up in bed with the real wife while the husband stews in his own juices. If this plot sounds familiar, it is because Mogile per Una Notte was remade by Billy Wilder in 1964 as Kiss Me, Stupid. The most entertaining aspect of the original film is the presence of Gina Lollobrigida as a frowzy housewife who blossoms into a ravishing beauty after spending the night with the count. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
