Both enemies and a very special friend follow a young girl and her father in flight from ruthless criminals in this drama. Bobby Allen (John Travolta) is a small-time crook working as a bagman for the mob in Chicago. When circumstances force Bobby to turn against his brother-in-law -- a high-ranking mobster -- he realizes Chicago is no longer a safe place for him or his young daughter, and soon they're on the run to California. A crew of mob enforcers are trailing after Bobby and his little girl before long, but there's someone else looking for them as well -- the girl took in a wounded Doberman who had been used for illegal dogfights and nursed him back to health, and when the dog is left behind, the loyal pooch sets out on a cross-country journey to find his best friend. This low-budget cult classic horror spoof has one of the great movie titles of all time. Mike (Grant Cramer) and his sweetheart, Debbie (Suzanne Snyder), are smooching on lover's lane when they see what appears to be a meteorite crashing over the horizon. They loosen their liplock long enough to investigate and find a curious circus tent. There they discover malevolent clowns who stop their victims with popcorn-shooting guns and acid-drenched pies in order to feast on human blood. The unfortunates are then entombed into inescapable cotton-candy cocoons. Officer Dave Hanson (John Allen Nelson) is called to investigate with help from Officer Mooney (John Vernon). For those viewers who already think clowns are a little creepy to begin with, this one will push them over the edge. ~ Dan Pavlides, Rovi

David Keith both directs and stars in this Sri Lanka-filmed adventure spoof. Taking equal portions of "Indiana Jones," King Solomon's Mines and The Macomber Affair, the film finds Keith playing Buck Malone, a mercenary hunter, headquartered in Borneo. Hired to guide a cotton-witted married couple through the wilderness, Malone falls in love with the wife (former Playboy foldout Kathy Shower) while hubby (Brant van Hoffman) walks around in a perpetual daze. The film ventures into John & Bo Derek territory when the intrepid trio cross the path of erotically-inclined cannibals. Further Adventures of Tennesse Buck isn't exactly rocket science, but it's immensely enjoyable on a low-comedy level. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

This Spanish horror movie steals ideas from at least three different major films including Alien, Predator, and The Andromeda Strain as it tells the story of three American teens on vacation in Spain who drive their RV into a tiny Spanish town where a large piece of Skylab has fallen and infected the town with a parasitic alien microbe that drives human beings insane and turns them into horrible mutants. At the same time, a scientist from NASA arrives to his agency's secret location beneath an ancient Spanish castle to meet with the member of the original team who survived the microbe. He shows the new scientist the ruined body of one of the men. During the examination, some of the dead man's blood gets on the survivor and suddenly he is infected. The scientist wants to use him to create a serum, but the victim panics and kills himself. The scientist finds the tourists, and then to test out his vaccine infects himself with the virus. He promptly orders the American military to fire-bomb the town so that none of the residents will escape and spread the horrible microbe. He then injects the youths with his serum and dies. Just before the military drops the deadly napalm, the youths in their RV manage to crash the blockades in the town. They make it to a gas station and there find themselves assaulted by a terrifying alien being who bursts from the chest of a dead attendant. The creature tries to scale the RV's windshield. Fortunately, the clever driver simply turns on his windshield wipers, knocks it to the ground and then runs it over several times. The survivors begin to celebrate, until they realize that their driver has a nose bleed. This means that he too has been infected and all is lost. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
