The Dukes don't believe in UFOs, but they change their minds in a hurry when they find what seems to be a space alien (played by dwarf actor Felix Silla, formerly The Addams Family's Cousin Itt) hiding in the General Lee. Though the Duke boys make a game effort to pass off the unearthly visitor as their "li'l cousin", Boss Hogg is bent upon capturing the alien and selling him to the highest bidder. Meanwhile, Sheriff Roscoe (James Best) and a pair of out-of-town crooks named Mickey (Dennis Burkley) and Buck (Britt Leach) hatch separate schemes to use "Li'l Cousin" as a cover for their latest scams. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
The 147th and final episode of The Dukes of Hazzard focuses on a talent show featuring practically everyone in the cast. The star of the show turns out to be, of all people, amateur magician Roscoe (James Best), who pulls off a trick in which Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) vanishes from sight! What Roscoe doesn't know is that Boss has been kidnapped by a pair of ex-convicts who plan to kill the old reprobate for sending them to the slammer...after collecting a million-dollar ransom, of course. Having long since replaced his wife Lulu's savings bonds with phonies, Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) panics when Lulu (Peggy Rea) decides to exchange the bonds for cash. To avoid being trapped by his own perfidy, Boss hires a pair of phony fortune-tellers, Madama Delilah (Leslie Easterbrook) and Three-Pack (Tommy Madden), to persuade Lulu to reveal the combination to her safe. But the crooks haven't reckoned with the Dukes, who intend to get even with Madame Delilah for framing Daisy (Catherine Bach) on a theft charge. Inamusch as Deputy Enos (Sonny Shroyer) has become too honest for their own good, Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) and Sheriff Roscoe (James Best) get him out of the way by promoting him to a civilian job. Enos' replacement is Billy Joe Coogan (Michael Alldredge), as dishonest and corrupt as the day is long. The Duke boys are blamed when a clever team of robbers uses a helicopter to steal an armored car containing three million dollars. Hoping to clear themselves, the boys escape from jail and set out to trap the crooks. Little do Bo (John Schneider) and Luke (Tom Wopat) realize that Sheriff Roscoe (James Best) has secretly engineered their escape, so he can sit back and take it easy while the boys do all the heavy lifting! The seventh and final season of The Dukes of Hazzard goes "forward into the past", flashing back eight years to reveal how Duke cousins Bo (John Schneider) and Duke (Tom Wopat) came into possession of their precious souped-up Dodge Charger, the "General Lee". Rescuing a battered black vehicle from a junkyard, the boys fix up the car and paint it orange in order to enter a high-stakes race--and hopefully, save Uncle Jesse (Denver Pyle) from being evicted by Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke). Unfortuantely for everyone concerned, the "General Lee" had a previous life as a getaway car for a particularly vicious gang of gold thieves! The Duke boys save the life of movie star Brock Curtis (Barry Van Dyke), who narrowly escapes a fatal accident while making a film in Hazzard County. As a reward, the boys are offered parts in a Hollywood movie, obliging Boss (Sorrell Booke) and Roscoe (James Best) to accompany the family to Tinseltown in order to make sure they don't break parole. It turns out that the "accident" which nearly claimed Brock's life was no accident--and now the would-be murderers have added Bo (John Schneider) and Luke (Tom Wopat) to their hit list! ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
In his own inimitable (and fatheaded) "no questions asked" fashion, Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) hires a trio of crooks to rob a moving boxcar. For this purpose, the crooks intend to knock the boxcar off the train, using remote-control explosives. The Duke boys become intimtately involved in the intrigure when the villians steal the "General Lee" and wire the car to blow up on the railroad tracks, destroying the "money train" and everyone on it in the process! ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
Cooter (Ben Jones) nervously prepares for a visit from his daughter Nancy Lou (Kim Richards), whom he's never met. With the help of the Dukes, Cooter is able to clean up his property and himself sufficiently to be a respectable parent. Unfortunately, as far as Nancy Lou is concerned, Cooter is now too respectable to help those disreputable Duke boys battle a pair of evil landowners who plan to dump toxic wastes in Hazzard County! Don Gordon guest stars as Scanlon, career criminal and "man of a thousand faces." Escaping from prison, Scanlon heads to Hazzard to get even with Deputy Enos (Sonny Shroyer), the man who sent him up. While the Duke boys try to protect the Deputy, Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) blithely messes up their efforts in his hopes of capturing Scanlon himself--and at the same time, the fugitive criminal stealthily skulks around the county in a variety of clever disguises. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
No sooner has Luke (Tom Wopat) returned from a Marine reunion than he witnesses a beautiful girl committing a jewel robbery. Confronting the girl, Luke finds that she has an airtight alibi: she was with his cousin Bo (John Schneider) when the heist took place. Convinced that someone is lying, Luke and Bo have a serious falling out--little realizing that they have both been flummoxed by a pair of attractive twin sisters (Randi Brough, Candi Brough. The moonshining Beaudry clan, who'd previously tried to force Daisy Duke (Catherine Bach) into a shotgun wedding at the end of The Dukes of Hazzard's fifth season, return to Hazzard Country for more mischief. This time out, the Beaudrys intend to steal Boss Hogg's still--and to get Boss (Sorrell Booke) out of the way, they frame him for sabotaging the car owned by Jesse Duke (Denver Pyle) just before an important "old-timers" race. Future Baywatch costar Shawn Weatherly guest stars as Billie Ann Baxley, a female cop who sidelines as a cycle stunt driver. Coy (Byron Cherry) falls in love with Billie Ann, little suspecting that she is half of a team of crooked hijackers (there's ANOTHER kind of hijackers?) When Vance (Christopher Mayer) figures out what the girl is up to, he tells Coy--who not only refuses to believe his cousin, but also angrily stomps off the Duke farm, apparently for good! A beautiful Russian gymnast named Natasha (Dawn Jeffory) decides to defect, and to this purpose hides out on the Duke farm. A Soviet spy finagle Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) into helping him retrieve Natasha, dangling a possible Nobel Peace Prize in front of Boss--not to mention a load o' cash. Unless her cousins can engineer a rescue, Daisy will soon be Mrs. Milo Beaudry--and there's a brace of shotguns backing up the boy's proposal! A postal investigator swoops down on Hazzard County to find out who is running a phony property mail scams. Of course, Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) is the guilty party, but he manages to pin the blame on innocent postmistress Miz Tisdale (Nedra Volz). Tracy Scoggins guest stars as Linda Mae Barnes, a voluptuous female deputy who is escorting a male prisoner through Hazzard County. Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) is not only enchanted by Linda Mae's beauty, but he's also impressed by the gal's mercenary streak. The Duke boys are likewise appreciative of the girls' looks, but they know something Boss doesn't: Linda Mae is a phony, in cahoots with her "prisoner" in a major crime scheme. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
A pair of escaped convicts show up on the Duke's farm and takes the family hostage--along with a pile o' money intended to pay the mortgage. Unaware of the situation, Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) and Sheriff Roscoe (James Best) descend upon the farm with foreclosure papers, only to end up hostages themselves! Who's going to gallop to the rescue in THIS one? That county's tough female boss, Big Billie Tucker (Joy Garrett) doesn't cotton to Hogg syphoning off her own ill-gotten gains, and threatens dire consequences. Accompanied by Coy (Byron Cherry) and Vance (Christopher Mayer), Enos picks up his footlocker at the bus depot. What Enos doesn't know is that the locker contains stolen emeralds--but a couple of crooks do know this, and they aren't above committing murder to get their hands on the gems. Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) gets in on the dirty doin's when he tries to claim the emeralds for himself so he can open up his own fast-food chain, "Fricasseed Pig." For those who need reminding, cartoonist Al Capp of "Li'l Abner" fame was the original creator of "Sadie Hawkins Day", wherein traditional gender roles are reversed and the girls ask the boys out for dances and other such social affairs. Hazzard County's variation on this tradition is "Sadie Hogg Day" during which the females take over jobs traditionally performed by males, and vice versa. Daisy Duke (Catherine Bach) is flattered when Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) appoints her temporary county treasurer--little realizing that he intends to have her take the blame for the financial shortages caused by his own embezzlements! ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
With the State probation supervisor breathing down his neck, Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) tries to prove he's on the ball by framing the Duke boys for passing bad checks. As part of a subterfuge to help the boys break out of jail, Daisy (Catherine Bach) leads Deputy Cletus (Rick Hurst) to believe she's in love with him. When Cletus is fired for negligence, it's up to Daisy--and the rest of the Dukes--to set things right. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
While on a boar-hunting expedition, Bo (John Schneider) suffers a concussion which causes him to lose his memory. Turning the situation to his advantage, Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) convinces Bo that he, Boss, is our hero's father--effectively turning Bo against the rest of the Duke clan! It's all part of a master scheme to have Bo make a treacherous corn-liquor delivery to Chickasaw County, right under the nose of "shootin' sheriff" Big Ed Little (Don Pedro Colley in his first series appearance). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
