Lee Tso nam spins this cheapie action-comedy exploitation flick. Li Min-feng (Moon Lee) and her partner, Grace, are undercover cops working as nightclub hostesses hoping to apprehend a lunatic who is victimizing women of said profession. When Grace learns a secret she shouldn't have, the two become embroiled in a vicious underworld struggle for power. Brother Bee is a fantastically ambitious junior gangster who scrapes his way to the top by killing his superiors -- including his own father. This weapon of choice is a crack Japanese hitwoman (Yukari Oshima) who accomplished each mission with grim professionalism. When Bee realizes his ambitions and becomes his gang's top dog, he learns that the Japanese yakuza has put a hit out on him for an arms deal that went bad. Meanwhile Grace gets murdered when she tries to arrest the gangster. Chik Kei-yee directs this superhero kung fu yarn about a limber young teen named Rabbit (May Lo Mei-mei) who, growing sick and tired of the crime and injustice around her, dons black tights and a face mask to become the latest incarnation of "Cotton Flower", a mysterious crime fighter who disappeared thirty years ago. Her first coup is leading the police to notorious crime world villain Bull (Melvin Wong Kam-sum). The cops soon star to believe that Rabbit's kung fu master sister Ying (Yukari Oshima) is the masked hero. Unfortunately, so do Bull's henchmen who launch a counter attack against Rabbit's family. Kung fu star and choreographer Corey Yuen spins this vigilante flick featuring Yuen Biao as Hsia Ling-ching, a court prosecutor who is sick of watching the criminal and the corrupt waltz away from justice. After knocking off well-connected drug pushers and underworld denizens, Hsia finds himself not only tailed by determined cop Cindy (played by American kung fu diva Cynthia Rothrock but also pursued by a number of hired guns contracted by crooked gumshoe Sergeant Wong (Melvin Wong. In this uneven mystery-thriller by Philip Chan, little Edith sees her mother stabbed to death by a "night caller" disguised in a raincoat and hat and then is so traumatized that she loses her ability to speak. Three CID inspectors take up the case: the intrepid James Wong (Melvin Wong) his partner Steven Chan (Philip Chan), and a newcomer to the police detective squad "Porky" (Pat Ha). After Detective Wong finds a tape inside the doll Edith was holding during the murder, he plays it, and the identity of the killer is revealed. Anxious to close in on the murderer, he decides to go it alone -- and ends up on the receiving end of the killer's wrath. This Jackie Chan martial arts actioner is a bit different than most of his films (although it does have the requisite spectacular stunts and kung fu fights). In it, he plays a police officer who is a member of a SWAT team but leaves it to join the C.I.D. division. In a stock teen drama with a twist, the adult hero is Hoi Sunkuai (Raymond Wong) a teacher at an all-girls school -- and an incarnation of the "Happy Ghost" Zhu Ganzhun who has supernatural powers. Hoi's problems start when a trio of student tricksters are out to do him wrong, just for the fun of it. After a miscalculated use of his special powers, he is called on the carpet in the headmistress's office -- and is immediately smitten with her. But his future is set when other mishaps get him fired. Now his only hope of reinstatement lies in the trio of culprits that got him into trouble in the first place.
