Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter) and the Groosalugg (Mark Lutz) return from vacation and learn about the kidnapping of Angel's son. Cordy does her best to console Angel (David Boreanaz). But it's a scuffle involving Gunn (J. August Richards) that takes everyone's mind off of Connor. It seems that during his days as a young inner-city vampire hunter, Gunn sold his soul to a demon in exchange for something he desperately wanted. Now that he wants to give his heart to Fred (Amy Acker), the demon has come to prevent him from giving away something that no longer belongs to him. Angel, Fred, and the gang must come to Gunn's aid to save him from an entire cadre of glitzy, Vegas-style demons. In the end, Gunn reveals that he sold his soul for a surprising commodity. Meanwhile, an isolated Wesley (Alexis Denisof) comes to terms with the lonely fallout from his unwitting assistance to Connor's abductors. In the style of the screwball comedies of the 1930s and 1940s, I Love Trouble depicts the developing romance of two rival reporters who reluctantly fall for each other while competing for a major scoop. Old hand Peter Brackett (Nick Nolte) and aspiring newcomer Sabrina Peterson (Julia Roberts) first meet when they are both assigned to cover a mysterious train crash. The pair immediately develops a connection despite their professional rivalry, and they decide to work together. Sensing something fishy about the crash, they look deeper and are soon fighting to expose a wide-ranging conspiracy, while also struggling to outmaneuver and out-charm each other along the way. This drama combines equal portions of martial arts and feminist drama. Well-muscled Terry (Graciela Casillas) is relentlessly pursued by the rich, obnoxious Mike (Patrick St. Esprit), who has sex and matrimony as his objective. On one occasion, Mike nearly rapes Terry, who is saved only by the intervention of Jason (John Martin), an old friend. Meanwhile, Mike is putting pressure on his father to foreclose on a business owned by Terry's father and the situation is getting desperate. So Terry challenges Mike, who is a karate champ, to a contest. They will have a fight; if she can throw him in the river, her father gets to keep his business and Mike will leave her alone. If she loses, Mike gets a night with her. Of course, Terry only has six weeks to learn how to defend herself but as fortune would have it, a miracle-working Philippine martial arts instructor has recently arrived in town. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide
