The scene is Brittania in the Middle Ages. To teach the despotic warlord Arthur of Camelot (Neill Rea) to mend his ways, Merlin the magician (Norman Forsey) sends him back 1,000 years in time. Here, the young Arthur recruits Hercules (Kevin Sorbo), who has likewise been transported to ancient Brittania by Merlin. Unfortunately, also on hand is Arthur's evil advisor, the sorceress Mab (Sara Wiseman), who is not about to relinquish her control over the "one and future king." Need it be added that the Sword Excalibur figures prominently into the outcome of the story? ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

In this undistinguished Stephen King horror adaptation, the good residents of Tarker's Mill are dense enough to ignore or explain away a series of violent deaths until a little boy is torn to pieces while flying his kite after dark. At that point, the men gang up and go into the fog-shrouded woods to hunt down whatever slasher is out there. The most they achieve is the sighting of one hairy arm and a few more sacrificial victims. But life goes on, and when the summer fireworks show is cancelled because people have deduced it might be fatal to stay out after dark, the Coslaw family's invalid, wheelchair-bound son Marty goes coasting off to the bridge to shoot his own fireworks. Needless to say, the hairy killer beast that is certain to be lurking there gets shot in the eyeball by one of Marty's rockets and is now an unhappy hairy killer beast. Even when a respected town biggie starts wearing an eyepatch, no one really takes notice. They must not watch many horror films. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

Made in England at a time when Morecambe and Wise were popular with TV audiences, this movie is as good as it is because of the inclusion of three of their more popular routines. A surprisingly complicated plot, though very thin, keeps the audience confused, however, in a tale rife with political intrigue, a British-Russian pact and other espionage-type complications which keep the bumbling spies hopping as they try to catch a ring of saboteurs. ~ Tana Hobart, All Movie Guide

This comical adventure pokes fun at Rambo as it chronicles the exploits of Traxx, a Texas Highway patrolman who leaves the state police to become a soldier-of-fortune in Hadleyville where he gets into baking funky cookies and working as a sort of town bouncer helping to clean up the burg. While there he and the Mayor, Alexandria Cray have a passionate affair. Real trouble comes to town in the form of the fearsome Uzi-toting Guzik brothers who have come to throw the do-gooder out. To draw him out, the nefarious brothers kidnap the town Little League team. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

Character actor Charles Martin Smith directed this quirky horror film about a dead rock star who wreaks vengeance on a small town. When a rock musician is banned from performing at a high school Halloween dance and ends up perishing in a hotel fire, he vows vengeance on the town and comes back from beyond the grave to obliterate the population. He does this through one of his most rabid fans, the nerdy Eddie Weinbauer (Marc Price), a high school outsider. He is such a fan that he plays the rock star's final album "Songs in the Key of Death" in reverse, looking for instructions on how to live his life. The rock star willingly obliges Eddie with helpful hints and soon Eddie is able to face down the high school bullies and gain the attention of an attractive girl. But soon Eddie begins to suspect that the ghost is using him. With the ghost intent on destroying the town, Eddie uses his newfound self-confidence to stand up to the ghost and save the town from destruction. ~ Paul Brenner, All Movie Guide
