This romance concerns the courtship between Brooks (Kiefer Sutherland), an erratic, brash rich kid who dresses in 1930s garb, and Anne (Vanessa Vaughan) a shy, deaf salesgirl. Brooks first notices Anne when he steals a mannequin from the sporting goods store where she works. The two later get together because Brooks decides to follow Anne home. Eventually, Brooks decides he has to learn sign language, and Anne provides the maladjusted young man with a relationship that is healthy. Along the way there are a few comical moments deriving from Brooks's manic behavior. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

Filmed in Quebec, this children's fantasy was originally released as Tales for All #5. The principal character is a lovable goblin who befriends a group of children. The magical dwarf is visible only to the kids, leading to all sorts of complications with the local adult population. In the end, the children save the goblin from the evil machinations of the human villain, a despotic land-grabber. The film's lilting musical score, written by G. Trepanier and N. Dube, has been made separately available on tape. Great Land of Small was part of a series of kid's films designed for the dual market of TV and theaters. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

This low-grade thriller centers around Frank Waite (Art Hindle), a sports-car salesman who is suddenly mean-tempered when his wife Lee (Shannon Tweed) becomes turned off by sex, and Anouk Van Derlin, the sex therapist they decide to see (Carole Laure). As Anouk starts to bring out the suppressed sexual fantasies of the couple, their sex life is much better -- but both Lee and Frank are not completely at ease with their new, unrestrained relationship. In the meantime, a series of stabbings occurs in the city that may or may not be related to a transvestite neighbor of the Waites. But as the murders continue, some of the victims turn out to be friends or acquaintances of the couple -- and the guessing game to identify the real killer begins. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide
