Marios learns that he is HIV positive and is convinced that this situation arose either from his wife, whom he discovers has been having an affair, or his mistress. He gets his wife to have a blood test and she, too, is HIV positive. He is planning to get a divorce and marry his mistress when she reveals that she's been quite promiscuous and is HIV positive herself -- and doesn't want to marry him. Her way for bringing home to him the extent of her promiscuity is quite novel: she has him watch a slide show composed solely of pictures with her and her various holiday boyfriends. Since Marios was hoping to get free from his loveless marriage, this news doesn't please him much. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide

In this popular Greek thriller/satire, a disgruntled employee of the Greek Telecommunications Organization marches into the director's office and connects a bomb to his computer, threatening to blow up the nation's phone system unless he gets to appear on television just before the final match of the World Soccer Cup. He claims he is going to protest government policies. While the director stalls the bomber, the government goes on a frantic search to find out what, if any, organization the bomber belongs to, and arrest its members. To their considerable distress, he is a man working on his own. By the time they call in the police psychiatrists, the clever bomber shows he has a further surprise or two up his sleeve. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide

The ironic title of this film indirectly alludes to the fact that Chronos devours his children, and it also refers to some young adults who share an apartment in Athens. They try to come to grips with their identities and existences before they too, will be devoured by time. The apartment dwellers include Aris (Takis Moschos) who is in medical school by default and in journalism to earn a living; his roommate Thanos (Minas Hadjisavvas); and an actress Stella (Anna Makraki) who moves in with them. As the three talk about whatever, engage in sexual liaisons, and live their lives, others drop by, and a picture of young, modern Athens soon emerges. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

Whether visiting his mother or his mistress, whether picking up his son from a birthday party or getting his car out of an auto repair shop, the hero of this satirical, biting comedy is a foil for the often absurd realities of a bureaucracy gone mad and the stresses of demanding relationships. These adventures might be Greek in content, but they are recognizable by anyone living in the real world. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide
