Written, directed by, and starring Robert Forster and his daughter Katherine, Hollywood Harry is a routine detective/human interest story about a low-end P.I. who sleeps with women at a rate of $5.00 each (they pay him) and is drinking his way into oblivion when his niece (Katherine Forster) arrives on the scene to snap him into shape. A client also comes in with a case Harry has to accept; money is running low. And so as the profligate detective is ready to hunt down his client's daughter, roped into porno films against the irate wishes of her father, his niece Danielle comes into the office indicating that her parents may be dead, while Harry's sharp secretary appears to have come into some sudden wealth. The plot lurches forward in several directions at once, as Harry's niece gets him out of the doldrums and into work. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

Faye Dunaway portrays the Argentinian title character in this four-hour TV biopic. The story traces Evita's rise to power from humble origins; she establishes herself as a radio and film actress, then meets and marries powerful politico Juan Peron (played by James Farentino, a last minute replacement for Robert Mitchum). Peron's iron-fisted rule of Argentina allows Evita to become a political power in her own right. At first she is widely beloved as a "woman of the people", but gradually many of her followers are disillusioned by her use -- and misuse -- of her authority and her influence over Peron. After Evita dies, she is all but canonized by the Faithful, and it becomes more difficult than ever to separate fact from legend. Evita Peron was clearly produced to capitalize on the Broadway musical hit Evita, though the script takes great pains not to copy its theatrical inspiration. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

The latest graft-ridden scheme hatched by Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) involves plowing up a veteran's cemetery in order to build a new highway. Unfortunately, this would reveal that the grave supposedly occupied by the late con artist Henry Flatt is empty--mainly because Flatt (played by Hal Smith, formerly town drunk Otis Campbell on The Andy Griffith Show) had faked his death a year before! Worried that his loved ones would suffer if he was proven to be alive, Flatt turns to the Dukes for help. This episode was directed by series regular Denver Pyle (Jesse Duke). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
