Emerging filmmaker Miroslav Momcilovic examines the seven deadly sins in his episodic feature directorial debut that allows each transgression its own uniquely shot and paced segment. From the chance meeting of two middle-aged pedophiles in "Lust" to the barking bodybuilder of "Anger" and the grotesque wedding-reception antics of "Gluttony," each sin is given a darkly humorous and irreverent treatment. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

In this melodrama about companionship and life, two friends are released from jail for different reasons -- one has a weekend pass, and the other is terminally ill -- and they go out looking for the past they left behind when they were imprisoned. As the healthy prisoner searches for his wife and son, his view on the meaning of existence is very much affected by his dying friend. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

In this light, fluffy comedy, a low-level clerk cannot make ends meet because his brood is in no way economically cooperative: his daughter is a lawyer looking for work, unsuccessfully; his son is a would-be astronomer who wants to spend his life studying without working; and his other son wants his own wheels. It is enough to send a father to the lottery, or to the soccer pool........ ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

This film is based on the story Three by Aleksandar Petrovic, and as the original source title indicates, it is the tale of three different soldiers whose liaisons with women either bring about their downfall or seriously erode their sense of duty. In the first segment, a partisan fighter stops for a drink at a stream. When compelled by a strain of voyeurism, he starts covertly watching some bathing women -- which leads to a fatal accident. In the next segment, a soldier takes command of a military outpost and gives in to temptation when wives come to offer themselves to him in order to keep their husbands from being sent into battle. This commander is discovered by his superiors and faces the inevitable fatal consequences. In the third and last segment, a young solder is taking the uniform of a friend killed in action home to the friend's mother, when he strikes up a passionate acquaintance with a woman on the train -- forgetting, in the end, that his mission had to do with handing over a uniform and not taking off his own. At this rate of attrition, it would seem that the enemy could simply send in women to win the war for them. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

Moca (Milan Gutovic) is just out of serving his stint in the army and the only job he can find, alas, is in a modern chicken-breeding plant. There he forms a liaison with two different women, one of them also caught up with the idea of breeding and in fact, she succeeds admirably. Fatherhood was not on Moca's agenda, and he hates his job so much that even his relationships with the two women cannot dim his attitude. Moving from acerbic comments about the plant, to cultivating free-range chickens, to finally tromping through a board meeting with 7000 little chicks in tow, Moca has the hardest time rebelling effectively against life among the chickens. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

Four young friends who have served with distinction during the war return to school afterwards to complete their education. The other three skillfully hunt down the renegades and eventually complete their studies, considerably soberer. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide
