A comet crashed into the Earth, bringing a mass of parasites capable of transforming typical human beings into flesh-eating ghouls in this apocalyptic zombie flick from genre specialist Jake Kennedy. When the citizens of planet Earth noticed an enormous comet looming ominously in the atmosphere, the powers that be assured everyone that they were perfectly safe. They couldn't have been more wrong: After the massive, icy chunk of parasitic rock comes slamming to the ground, the dust that it kicks up transforms everyone within hundreds of miles into raging zombies with an unholy appetite for human flesh. Now, in a remote complex far removed from civilization, the last remaining humans huddle together and prepare to make a stand against an unstoppable army of the undead. With each passing minute their chances of survival fade, leaving the injured, frightened survivors to become the final fresh meal for a new race of cannibalistic mutants. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

The stage is set for a series of confrontations when photographer Mark Jefferson (Tom Eplin) agrees to help his friend Roger (John Mayall) defend his night club against a handful of organized crime figures. Mark has an added incentive for becoming involved as his ex-girlfriend Carol (Cheri Cameron Newell) sings at the club. But the gangsters are willing to use mayhem and murder in order to take over Roger's business. It appears that the petty mobsters are out to sell illegal weapons to anyone who wants them, especially L.A.'s youth, instead of using the club as a front for a prostitution ring as Roger suspects. Soon Mark and his trusty motorcycle have their work cut out for them. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi

In this fairly innocent fare, some wild beach girls throw a super party to help a nerdy guy and an up-tight gal get with the beach blanket times. Though certainly not a shocker, this movie was rated R for nudity. ~ Rovi
